National seed gives you a better shot at making it to Omaha. That is it worth. Means nothing once you are there. Better to have it than not.

I apologize to everyone who thinks I hate LSU and life apparently but I love LSU baseball and talking about it. I try to provide posts that actual give value and I get hate for it. I have issues making my point, I get that. I need to word these posts better so that my point is clear, I agree.
I see how this has been misinterpreted and I am sorry.
This was supposed to be a positive thing showing off the stats to make us all feel better if we DON'T get a National Seeding, which as of now, is still looking like we won't according to everyone in here. (Most people argued with me two nights ago when I said we would be a National Seed after beating Florida that LSU would have to win the tournament to get a National Seeding)
I am done posting, it's not worth getting so much shite because the people that post the most around here seem to hate everything I say now.

That's funny. I have no animosity toward tadd, even though his avi appears to be a woman's torso on a child's lower half.
If tadd's point were to be made he'd have to compare the performance of the top 8 seeds to that of the next 8 seeds - not to the whole tournament field. Comparing the top 8 to the whole field is similar to comparing the number of five star recruits making nfl rosters to the number of three stars. There will always be more three stars in the nfl because there are a hell of a lot more of them.

Being a top 8 national seed is a fairly big advantage. LSU is deserving and I hope they get it. If not, however, it's not the end of the world. Still have to win the regional and could still host a super if the national seed they're paired with loses. Besides, not getting a top 8 seed might be just enough disrespect to keep the possum train rolling to Omaha.

I don't copy and paste, I use existing stats and put them together to make a point.
Anyways, how is that any different than any other post around here that uses stats?
