Ryan Leaf had no tattoos. He must have been a great leader.

again, you are trying to change the point i made.

at no time did i say that having a neck tattoo resulted in the impossibility of leadership skills.

at no time did i say not having a neck tattoo resulted in the definite possession of leadership skills.

i simply stated that having a neck tattoo is a result of poor decision making the majority of the time.

oh and i see your david beckham and raise you the entire violent offender prison population. check to see how many of those fine folks have some sort of neck tattoo vs the general public at large.

Jefferson was high on himself and played for Jefferson not for LSU.

You know this how?
Did he ever say that? If he did I missed it and would appreciate it if you would supply a quote.
Thank you?

Why the hell do you need a mobile QB when you have the caliber running game of LSU.A real threat of a vertical passing game is obviously the missing piece of the offense.

I prefer my QB to have leadership skills. He may in time but from what I know about him, he needs work in that area.

My personal favorite LSU QB of all time is still JaMarcus. But he couldn't run a lick. BUT HE COULD THROW THE FOOTBALL BETTER THAN ANYONE we ever had...and that's the No. 1 job of the QB.

I agree he's the best QB, maybe in school, history, but he could run too. He couldn't run like Cam Newton or something, but he was mobile.

i think its funny our two best passing QBs were both black and yet people still bring up race in regards to any QB situation.

I think Hodson would argue with you since he is not black

Better to have a QB with some mobility than some stone back there

Stone QB- 21 (And a National Championship)
Mobile QB- 0 (And National Embarrassment)

This guy is a good QB. Please let's wait to pass judgement on this guy, I mean he hasn't played a single down of college football.

Then how do you know he's a good QB if he hasn't played a down of college football? He may look good in practice running the football, but can he do all the other things that QB's must do when the lights come on?

Some of you guys just never learn.

"European American" QB's Tommy Hodson and Bert Jones were better passers than both, so that bumps JaMarcus of Mob-Town and Rohan of Middle Earth to #'s 3 and 4 at least.

also don't like this whole "added dimension" of the offense crap that everyone likes to spew about mobile QBs. The fact of the matter is pocket passers are better as a whole and there is no getting around it. We do not NEED to have a QB who can run a 4.5 40. It's a different game but Brees, Brady, and Manning seem to do fine without that ability and I would take one of them any day of the week over a "mobile" QB.

But mysterious Les baby apparently likes "Feet" more than "Brains and Arms."

Hopefully, "Mettsiah" will change all that.

I'll give you Bert Jones, but Tommy Hodson wasn't in the top 20 passers in LSU history. I'm not talking about the overall job he did at QB, but about his passing ability alone. Hodson was successful because Arnsparger had an imaginative offense that left people wide open. Hodson was smart enough to geliver the ball to the right folks, but he had a noodle arm.
