The issue is that we're not above OM and lots of people find that unacceptable

Exactly so when they say we are i laugh. They have been competitive for the last few years, never great but no Vanderbilt. So when someone says we are above them and then get crushed by them in every phase of the game it makes me

So as long as we don't lose to Memphis, Miles is our best option. Duly noted. That same team just beat us 38-10. I'm not counting that fumblerooski TD.

Same for Arkansas, no matter their record or who they lost to we cannot dominate them so to say we are that much better is insane because we obviously are doing something wrong if that was the case.

Keep miles and u will get this season every year until the talent is just so great like 2011 that it makes him look like a better coach than he is. He needs to do the right thing and resign.

Contact Jimbo Fisher today. Is he the Savior.....no clue but he IMO is the best hire out there for LSU besides Saban. Hes an excellent recruiter, coached here before, and a great offensive mind. All we would need is a top notch D- coordinator and Game ON! When is he available? Do we keep miles another year to let him deservedly retire? (again my opinion) or get Jimbo now? I think we do what we have to reguardless. I love Les but this is a CF of the highest order and we need to move on and if Jimbo would bite now? Sorry Les no swan song.

You are correct in that there is no evidence, but I and many many others think he was behind it. We look bad in the way this was done with leaks and "no comments". No way to treat Les, regardless of whether he should go or not. Just sit back and watch how this rolls out in the national press, it won't reflect well on LSU.

He could have been more proactive in controlling the narrative put out there by the media, TAF, BOS, etc. The information that has come out has led to a perception that will make it a bad situation if Miles stays, imo.

No comment is not always the best approach.

What if the decision is basically already made that he is gone. What was Alleva supposed to say when asked right after the Ole Miss game? Anything of substance would have been analyzed to death. The only thing he could say that wouldn't blow up into a media storm was "no comment".

Well gee Mickey, let's look at what has happened-it was leaked, the AD did say what he said. What has happened is out there for all to see and it has no sheen of class whatsoever.

Lol you are still saying nothing. Alleva said "no comment." We have record of a board of supervisors member talking to the media. Is it that hard to imagine that a board member may be responsible for the leaks?

LMAO at the dumb mf's like you. Let me guess, you think Ole Miss is an elite program on the rise? LOL

They lost 4 games last year in their best year in a decade....and they would already have 4 losses this year if not for a fluke game against Bama. They will likely lose 4 again this year, in a year where there was a lot of talk about them contending for a NC based upon all those first round draft picks that they supposedly have.

Let me guess also.....you think Freeze is a damn good coach and you would love to have him.

Jimbo is by far the best option for this program. He was the best option imo in 2005 as well. You can't deny what he has done at FSU.

Then I am right. I am posting against the idea that it may not be happening. If it's happening, which I think it is, then the way it was handled doesn't matter ultimately. If they handled it this way while not knowing if it was happening, and it doesn't, that looks bad.

Man I don't know about Jimbo. Some of y'all don't remember....he was fortunate the year they won the NC in that he plays in the ACC for one, and that he got an Auburn team that quite honestly was lucky as fk not to lose 4 games.

I'm not saying he is bad...but there are some other names I'd much rather have.....the slam dunk homerun hire would be Chip Kelly...it would drive saban fkn crazy against his offense. I wouldn't even mind Jim Mora jr....

I am very much against some of these supposed up and coming gimmick offense coaches......we don't need gimmick at LSU.

No, it's not, a board member could have. Could have done so with Alleva's complicity. Who knows. You are naive if you think this won't look bad. Alleva could have put a stop to this, and handled it very differently. He didn't. His plan is pretty obvious. So think what you want dude. As will the rest of the national press....

What looks bad? Alleva's "no comment?" If you are upset about something, it should be at the board of supervisors for talking to the media. We actually have proof of that. Also, you have to remember that the BOS has the more power than the Athletic Director. If they are telling him that Les has to be gone, there's not really much he can do about it.

LOL.....

got me to thinking of an old song...

Blinded by the lights......

He is in the fkn ACC with the best talent by far they weren't even good last year, and aren't that good this year....he had that one year and was fortunate to catch an Auburn team in the NC game that was lucky as fk to get there.
