Agreed. Maybe if we learned to play hard for the full 60 minutes we wouldn't have to worry about some team pulling off a game winning drive in the last few minutes.

Urban I thought you was more classy than this.

Oregon called a timeout after the first play of OSU's last drive which I would take that they were planning to play till the end. OSU appeared ready to run the clock after that play until they saw Oregon's TO. Nothing wrong with scoring after that.

But he would have kneeled it. I wish we had a chance to be there but we were home watching.

Urban sent a message to recruits. "We beat Bama and dominated Oregon. We aren't even done yet."

Just start watching him coach? He ran that thing up every chance he got when he coached at UF.

But I agree, it was in poor taste to score again when they were already up 15 and there was less than a minute to go.

How is that in poor taste? You coach these guys to play hard every play the entire game. Should a coach not then be expected to coach his best the entire game?

They're up by 15, less than a minute to go. The game is over.

Then the Ducks HC should not call timeouts! This means hey we still think we have a chance!

The game lasts 60 minutes not 59. With that frame of mind were you ok when Sam Montgomery admitted to taking plays off or not playing as hard in certain games compared to others?

I don't agree with coaches running up the score when:

1. It's impossible for the opposing team to win even if they score

2. Even with Oregon's tempo, there's no chance they do because the clock is now an enemy too.

Granted, Oregon shouldn't have called TO's like the other poster said too.

That's all I'm saying.

If you disagree, that's fine.

Miles burns the clock out in the first half when he is ahead by 3.

I remember us faking a punt up 40-3 late in the 4th against Miami in the Peach Bowl under Miles. We didn't even get it. Miles said it was the players' idea, but still... That was after we faked a FG up 34-3 going into the 4th quarter.

I didn't mind though because da U has never seemed to fully recover from that whipping and they used to run it up on teams all the time back in the day.

Meyer is no stranger to running up the score. It was a classless thing to do.

Les Miles has lost control of Urban Meyer's classy-ness.

Oregon did not call their last two timeouts. When OSU snapped the ball on the TD, the clock was running with 12 to go on the play clock. Oregon surrender and urban shot them anyway.

Liar. He would have called T0 (after checking with someone to see how many we had left)

I wish Les worried as much about scoring before games as he worries about hurting the other team's feelings at the end of games.
