So why in the f is he letting this Shea kid go to Ole Miss????

You run a pro style offense and waste your time recruiting dual threats.....

I don't f'in get it.

Shea played at a private school in Shreveport. He is overrated. Let him go where he wants to go. We just need a competent game manager and we will run over people.

Shut the hell up. We got Felipe franks. The guy who out performed Shea in camp.

I get it. But why don't we at least get a 3* pro style just so the transition is easier?

He hasn't even announced his decision?

And it's Cams offense.

What do you mean by let? He's not Les' kid and he's not in prison.

Franks is the truth man. He's gonna do just fine here once Harris graduates

He's vastly underrated IMO. He will probably shoot up the boards after his senior year.

It's funny how when he was coming to LSU he was the best QB prospect in decades...no need to put down the kid because he probably decided to follow his brother to ole miss

Not true. A fleet of foot QB in a pro style offense is one hell of a weapon. Just have to coach them up

It's funny how some posters choose to justify a 5* qb from Louisiana deciding to not come to LSU.( if in fact that's the case)
Not to mention going possibly to rival school.

In all honesty based on what we've all seen (minus ZMett) can you blame the kid?

Yeah even if the kid commits to OM it's still a long way away, he has a year of FB left and so do we so........ He may see that his rating isn't end all be all to a decision in the end and Franks could very well pass him up by the end of it all. You never know and I will trust our OC that has seen and worked with pro QBs over any anylist any day. OM is desperate for a QB and if he can't see that well than good luck to him. Cam really needs to sit down with this kid and tell him that sitting isn't always bad for your future. I know if I'm the Dad of this kid no way I'm letting him commit to OM just yet, no way. Cam has a proven track record and if BH lights it up this year all these media darlings will be all over LSU and Cams/Les's jock. They run with the present and that's about it. BH will be better this year and LSU will have a great season.

I don't see how anyone is justifying it. Shea was very transparent about playing with Sean.

Ole Miss was willing to make a coaching position available, LSU was not.

End of story

Why can't a dual threat run Cams offense? You do understand what dual and threat mean?

According to the posters on here, Shea is overrated and Franks is better. Before you know it, it'll be "we never wanted him"
