Does anyone else besides me know that the word "quality" by itself means nothing without another word describing it? Words like good, bad, high, low?

I think Coach Miles just needs a good dual option QB (or at least one that can pass and run when needed) to succeed in the national picture.

100% disagree!

I thought the stated goal by the AD was "It is not about winning championships but being in the hunt for Championships". Your goals and those of the AD do not match. I agree with your goals in respect to winning championships is the only goal. But don't agree that being 2nd is sometimes not a bad option. Doesn't agree with your goal of winning championships. Finishing 2nd gets you no championships.

Since when is a 5th year senior QB a "rebuilding" year.

When you have that QB in the season when you lost 8 underclassmen starters from your DEFENSE alone to the NFL draft... that's when.

saban did as much in 5 years as Less has done in 9.

epic fail

you clearly do not GAF about performance, preparation, discipline or management if you feel the way you do and you clearly like him crapping the bed annually to a team he should not lose to save for the anomally season in 2011, but of course he quit on his team on 1-9, do you approve that also?

The whole thing was JJ and Lee were not good enough to win a NC with. we were told this in 2011. people said 2012 will be our year because we will have a true drop back passer in Mett. well how did that go?

This year we had Mett as a SENIOR! Another chance at a title? oops, not so much. Now next year?

the Miles pumpers always talk about next year.

notice that?

we're always gonna get it, next year. Things are always gonna be better next year. Next year's recruiting class will make the difference. The schedule next year sets up better. etc....

When is now for these people?

Oh just wait and give them time. If LSU does manage to squeak by Arkansas and win whatever bowl game the pumpers will be screaming top 5 next year, 12-1, winning the west, sec championship, and bcs championship

Miles lovers just keep moving the goalposts. "If" Miles gets a major haul this year in recruiting he's good...but what if he doesn't? What's the next goalpost?

Ponder this thought. Except for 2011, we are on the same level or lower than Ole Miss in head to head games
Isn't our highly paid coach break even against Ole Miss over the last 6 years at 3 - 3 ??
2008, 2009 and 2013 we are ranked and lose to OM- we were fortunate to win last year too.
Miles just laid a pile of manure losing to that POS team with their back up players and a freshman walk on. We were ranked at 6 and should have beaten them by double figures. Team was totally unprepared to play that game.
I would hardly consider OM a quality team but Miles seems to have us playing down to below or at their level over a 6 year period.
Do we have the "want" to be no better than Ole Miss despite spending millions more, having greater facilities, higher paid coaches?
Not the type of results we should receive or expect with all the support, etc behind this program.
OM is not AL, GA or even AU.
Same with his struggles with Arkansas. He blew a game in the 2007 season having to win to stay on top of the BCS standings. Lucked into that Ohio State game.
Miles is not horrible but way way behind Saban when it comes to program development and long term success. Saban is picking and choosing who he wants and from where he gets his players. We are hoping to finish strong enough in recruiting to maybe get closer to AL.
Next year will be more struggle and probably nothing short of the QB debacle we have seen since Flynn graduated (except this season with Mett).
Just the way it is. And nothing is going to change unless the program officially tanks it. As long as he wins 7 (a 6 win season gets him a pass next year) games a year, he gets the big dollars.

Disgusting - if I did not know better, I would say Miles was on the take with the Vegas Mafia.
Almost difficult to see any other explanation for what happened.
