You're right...and it's not just Miles, which is what you blame everything on. I just think finding a better OC is an easier way to fix things. Obviously you dont.

.No, I think Crowton sucks a fat one too. But how many frick up hires does Miles get to make before we see that it's the "CEO" that's the problem?

YOu don't have to prove it to me. I'd settle for just a handful of examples.

But if Miles, with or without Crowton, loses 5+ games this year then he should be let go.

ahh, so another 4 loss ron zook mediocre season is not worthy of a firing EVEN THOUGH that would be the THIRD STRAIGHT ron zook like year as far as losses go...he has to lose 5 right? It is people like you that kept Gerry D and hallman here. Pathetic. So he loses 4 and how does that instill confidence that he can turn it around after 3 STRAIGHT mediocre years?

INFINITE apparently...we lose 4 games this year and this cat says he wants Miles back....even though that would be THREE straight mediocre years as far as losses go which is completely unacceptable.

I guess that guy doesnt realize that Crowton calls the plays.

And that our quarterback is Jordan Jefferson not Richard Jefferson.

Ok..4+ losses. i wasnt being specific. Hell, even 3 losses if they look like shite all year. Not every thing is black and white...there's a huge gray area.

Do you know one of the main reasons Jimbo left?? Or do you love Miles that much??

That's not Miles supporter speak. Isn't it all about W vs L and Miles' record?
If there's a huge gray area then surely you can see that this team has been truly prepared to play and executed well in maybe 2 games the past 2 seasons, regardless of outcome. How in any way is that even remotely acceptable?

I hope we never get to this point:

which is exactly why Crowton should be fired.

Crowton, Peveto, Mallory... are some of the reasons Miles should be making Less. A man in his pay grade should be capable of selecting better coordinators.

Next year LSU is going 6-6 and Les Miles will be fired at the end of the season.

I can only hope.

You hope LSU goes 6-6 just so Miles can be fired?

Its not...but the defense improved greatly over last year and played better with every game.

JJ improved somewhat...hopefully he can put it all together next year. Remember, he was basically a freshman 4th stringer (and got moved up to 3rd when RP got kicked off) just last year.

The offense, on the other hand, was atrocious. The worst ive seen since ive been watching LSU. If that gets fixed LSU could be right back where they belong.

Not everything is doom and gloom.

You don't really have time for that when you're out of timeouts.

And whose fault is this? Who burned a timeout to have an obvious fumble reviewed?

What? Does Miles' headset not work? If he can't veto that dumb assed play, he's not fit to be a head coach.

I love the people like Choctaw that have the quick trigger for Crowton but don't realize who hired him. I love that the timeout debacles are the head coach. He doesn't seem to realize that.

Someone repost the youtube video of Les Miles calling a timeout in 2005 (Tenn.) after a change of possesion.!

Someone please remember calling a timeout in the Alabama game, THEN CHALLENGING THE CALL.....

A good head coach adapts and changes things when they don't work. When the option to the short side of the field doesn't work, you tell your OC DO NOT RUN THAT PLAY ANYMORE. His blind ignorance of that does not make him more understanding or a better CEO.
