After watching the Ohio St game to watch the 3rd string QB come in and play like a Heisman Trophy candidate in a championship game after one week of taking the 1st string snaps compared to what you have done this year, it is almost criminal. And frankly you should be embarrassed.

You're getting a bit ahead of yourself. After the bowl game last year everyone was slobbering over Anthony Jenning's knob after he (as a true freshman) led the team to a win. OSU fans are doing the same tonight.

They might not be so eager this time next year once he's had a full season under his belt.

Damn. If miles left and ended up winning more there after being the most successful coach in lsu history, he would be a legend.

Hard to top what he has done at lsu though when you think rationally and with perspective of the college football landscape.

I agree that this will be my final supporting year of Les if it's more of the same qb play and the more talented guy not getting a fair Shake.

I understood for this season why Jennings would start.. But will be highly upset if LSU has another 3 to 4 loss season and atrocious qb play. No reason to consistently underachieve

It's pretty sad and embarrassing how alabamasessed many lsu fans have gotten.

Not really. Jennings was terrible in the bowl game.

Let's pretend this is true for a minute.

do you really think, just on a basic level, Jennings si better than any of them? Throwing? running? thinking?

Why is it acceptable for ohio st, or any team, to have 3 quarterbacks that are better than any quarterback on lsu's roster?

it isn't acceptable. That is what people should be getting mad at.

I think you are confusing fans that want the coaches to get the best out of our talent. They also want a 2014 offense with some creativity.

Yeah.

Generally people who expect LSU to consistently play at a high level given the resources they have are regarded as "bamasessed".

Les is going to start jennings next year and the next and you're going to just have to deal with it

1. i doubt any of them would look good in an NFL offense.
2. I doubt Jennings would look good in any offense.

"Alabamasessed" sure thing. More like they're the standard in the SEC right now. I see that you chose to attack the poster, rather than address the message. Do you have a meaningful response or just butthurt that people recognize things aren't all sunshine and daisies?

Fact is Alabamas running back is setting school passing records. LSUs 4 star quarterback is continuing the trend under Miles of being total dumpster fires. Recognizing coaching flaws =/= "Alabamasessed"

Should LSU fans, noting that Miles has nearly the same talent level at his disposal accept year after year of offenses that struggle to move the ball?

maybe so maybe not. Doesn't really matter if we run the same scheme we ran this year. (2013 wasn't much better, just had better results due to unbelievable collection of talent on offense)

Describe "nearly". This myth continues to be repeated on this board with out any evidence considering alabama having 4 out of 5 straight #1 recruiting classes and lsu not being any where near that.

Many lsu fans don't know shite about recruiting and just repeat this myth over and over.

The fact that you think we don't have comparable talent proves how delusional you are...............go away

So that whole "we're young because the entire team left early for the nfl" argument that you and your fellow pumpers use, how does that for into your thought process here exactly?

bama may be first in line but lsu is right behind them. Watch the NFL games tomorrow and count how many times you hear 1st, 2nd.ie 3rd year payer outtake lsu.

The best thing you don't realize is that you are all agreeing that lsu is developing lower rates guys into nfl players.

I know you are trying to shite on the program with your weak comebacks but you are actually proving the point

But are they all better than what we have on the roster right now? If you say yes, than we have a big problem. If the answer is yes than we can't recruit competent and competitive QB's at LSU under Miles. Miles has been at LSU for 10 years Meyer at OSU for 3 years and after just 3 years he has 3 QB's on the roster that are better than every QB we have at LSU. If that is the case than got news for everyone, WE HAVE A

The issue with recruiting is also our scheme.

It's easier to find HS QBs to run a spread offense compared to the shite we run. HS spread QBs are like NFL RBs (dime a dozen)

Urban can go find 3 Brandon Harris type players every recruiting year. Miles is relegated into taking project QBs or spread QBs so he can force them into his system. All these other teams' spread QBs that everyone runs here to post about after they have a great game would look like T-total shite running an I-formation unimaginative 2 WR set offense.

It's just a shitshow. Adapt or die.
