a firmer grasp of the the truth that is entirely your opinoin????...are you related to our president? you believe that JJ is a good QB because of his comp % right....Well, that means I could have been a fricking hall of famer in pee-wee throwing the ball five yards and having someone else catch the damn thing...(and if your as ignorant as I think you are you wont get my point) call it a test...

I just checked the historic records.
Some posts talk about Miles wins and Losses --- but with 12, 13, and 14 game seasons now - that's not a true fair comparison.
SO I looked at WINNING PERCENTAGE --- and Les Miles, with a 51-14 record is at .785 - IF LSU wins the bowl this year - .788.
I'll take that ALL DAY LONG!!!!!!!!
That is #1 on the LSU history list - for coaches with more than 20 total games.
There are 4 - 5 coaches with higher pure percentages - but only 1, 5, 8, and 20 games total as I recall from the list I saw.
He's about Saban, Arnsbarger, McClendon, and Deitzel - among others at LSU.
JJ has got some talent - he has some faults -- I think a QB really shows his mettle in his 2nd year as starter --- so hold off on judging the quality or lack of quality in JJ until this time NEXT season - then we'll know.

I think they psychoanalyze the kid too much. After the INT I thought he was angry at himself for making a mistake and came out fired up the next series. He threw better after the INT than before it

Les Miles, and Jordan Jefferson
Les Miles: I am embarrassed for becoming a negatiger, if even for a brief time, in the minutes following the Old Miss debacle ... I mean, that was SO badly handled, obviously. But when you look at Miles' record over 5 yrs -- 50-14 ... I mean, that's an average of 10 wins a year over a 5 year period. That's unprecedented in LSU history. Win the bowl game and it's another 10 win season.
way to man up TJ.
quote:
Jordan Jefferson: I am mystified by the criticism of him. He completes a high percentage of his passes, runs well, and has led last minute scoring drives ag. Georgia and now Arkansas ... compare him to any other LSU QB at this stage of his career, and he fares very well in the comparison.
key words, "at this stage of his career." if his progression and that of the offensive line is substantial we will be very solid offensively next year.

I think it's time for people to just STFU ... if they're a fan, then be a fan and support the team ..
amen to that brother.

yell, stay in your seat for the entire game. (I could NOT believe people left the Ark. game w/ 3 minutes left. Especially the east sideline seats ... who the f$(k ARE those wussies?
people who couldn't wait to get home and bash the team and coaches online or on talk radio. wussies?...more like pussies. ya know...the sloflopro crowd and all the other gutless losers who claim to be LSU fans. geaux.

My problem with the "JJ is only a Soph" He'll be great when he's a Senior, analogy is that we will be great and dominating every 4 years! Shep or another QB should be playing some every game also, and Garrett should play some next year also. So that you have an experienced QB every year due to Graduation, not one every 4 years.
Pardon my run-on sentences, sentence construction, spelling and grammer.....I'm old and dumb.
