Great recruiter. Likable guy who represents the program well. Struggles to develop players. Under delivers.

Such an original post. And from someone who's been posting here for over 7 years.

So Anthony Jennings is Misha Mutavdzic?
Obviously Dural is Ronnie Henderson.
Hoko is Roman Rubchenko.
Hilliard is Maurice Carter.
Dwayne Thomas must be Randy Livingston.
The Chief is Bob Starkey.
The other 80 scholarship players are Garrick Scott.
The metaphor is perfect, you guys.

Miles has coached more current NFL players than anyone else in the world. So I would say he can develop them decently. He also has a national championship ring.
So no. He's not Dale Brown. He's Les Miles.

Dale led LSU through the golden years of LSU Basketball, so I can see the similarities.

If RR is Reuben Randle, he's more of Mid-C based on his expression. If you are talking about Rashard, the highest.

There are some similarities, but I agree, Miles is not Dale Brown. Although my uncle probably feels as though he is, since he hates Miles and hated Brown with a passion.

Yeah, I was referring to Rashard.

I've thought the same thing many times

OP has a valid point. I've heard this comparison for years. Not sure why it meets such resistance on this board.

OP = Ben Voogd?
Is not good. Should go somewhere else.

Because the idea that Dale Brown and Les Miles struggle to develop players is asinine.

That other people have been dumb enough to make the comparison before does not validate the comparison.
