I'll never forget the 2007 NC, and the 2011 regular season was simply the best in history. Whoever follows may bring more on-field glory and championships, but they will never have more class or love for LSU. Thank you Les - I'll be rooting for your success and happiness in everything you do going forward!

I'll definitely miss Les Miles the man, but it was time for Les Miles the coach to go...

I thank Miles for everything he's done at LSU.
In this day and age, unfortunately you can stay somewhere too long.

You really gotta love les. One of the best people and coaches in football. He may have been too loyal to players and coaches. Really wished it would have worked out, but the offense never really reached its potential with cam cameron.

If you think Coach Miles wasn't loved here you are crazy.
They should have offered him a position were he could interact with families of recruits away from the calling of plays.

It was a wild ride all the way till the last second of his time here. All coaching philosophies aside, I appreciate the example he set for our university. He had a quality ability of showing that he cared for LSU. I don't wish him a happy retirement, because I feel there is a want to extend his career further than just the backend of his time at LSU.

I really like Les. A great guy. Maybe TOO nice a guy. But he would not adapt I guess....
