Les is 100% class. He always defended his players and fellow coaches. He represented his university, city, and, most importantly, himself with a level of class that not a lot of people have in the world today. Even when the team under preformed I was still proud to call him our head coach. He was genuine, he was unique, he was awesome. We will miss you Coach Miles. Thank you for all of the great memories.

I think its safe to say that Miles had no chest when it came time to fire Cameron. Irony?
Miles, thanks for being a squared away coach and not tarnishing our program. Thanks for being a father figure to the kids who didn't have one. I truly hope we find a way to get you back involved with LSU in some facet. If not, then best of luck running the 1980s power offense in a smaller division. Should work better than against the beasts of the SEC.

Thanks for your dedication and loyalty to the players and to LSU.
The 2011 team was one of the best teams I've ever seen at LSU... should have never had to play Alabama again that year.
Good man

Thanks Coach Miles!! You are a great man and a great Coach and did a lot of great things for LSU and all the young men who were fortunate enough to be coached by you. And thank you for your class even when LSU no longer wanted you. You will always be a Tiger!!
Good luck in whatever you move on to now...

All the best to you and your family, Coach. I will never forget the Fla. and Aub. wins of 07, the 07 NC, and the greatest regular season, 2011, in LSU history.
