When the game was over we actually joked about rushing the field. We really felt like it was a big, big win. It didn't matter that it was Troy from the Sunbelt Conference. It didn't matter who the other team was. It wasn't about Troy, it was about LSU.

I honestly think this game may have seriously improved JLee's confidence and hopefully he can improve a thing or two. We'll see in less than a week.

Note to LES: You got biggger things to worry about than looking in the seats! Focus on the field.

That would have been hilarious. I wonder what the cops would have done. There was so few of us left - they probably could have arrested each one of us.

I don't know if Les reads this website or not - you should probably email him that to let him know.

Were you one of those rantards who was complaining about Les asking where his wife's seat was right before his FIRST game in Tiger Stadium?

I have a serious question for IBleed:

Why are you a fan of LSU? What pleasure do you derive from this?

I’m dead serious. LSU has a massive comeback, and putting aside the issue of “we never should have been down”, the fourth quarter was objectively an exciting quarter of football. Yet your comment is to call the comeback lucky and say Troy should killed us. Then you talk about how lousy Lee is.

which is fine. More power to you. But if you can’t enjoy a comeback win and you can’t take any joy in Lee doing something positive, why bother rooting at all? You aren’t a little bit happy that the team showed heart and rallied? You didn’t feel some sort of pride when Lee, who has played so poorly, pulled off a massive comeback keyed by some big passes? If you don’t enjoy the good things at all, and only focus on the bad things, what enjoyment do you get out of this? Why do this to yourself?

yeah, because the money that the fans bring in has no bearing whatsoever on the program.

What the frick do you people think about when you post shite? SERIOUSLY!?

Actually - if you look at the 4th quarter in a vacuum - w/o the context of the rest of the game and the fact we entered it down 31-10 - the 4th quarter was very boring. We did all the scoring - they did all the not scoring and turn overs - just the way a game against a Sun Belt team is supposed to be.

But yes - obviously - the context of the fact we needed to score 21 just to break even made it an incredible rush.

but if theres one person who has shown heart, its Lee.

Lee has been kicked around like a stray dog. He has made a ton of mistakes, he knows it, and everybody else does too. He gets booed before, during, and after the game, and when it is all over, he stands in front of the camera and takes it like a man. The kid has got guts.

Context is everything in sports. So that’s not saying much. Example: Hester rushes for one yard. Big whoop. Context: Hester rushes for one yard on fourth and goal from the one yard against Florida in a drive in which LSU converted five fourth downs. Anyone of those that failed probably means Florida wins and LSU does not win the SEC. Context always makes a play more or less exciting.

Well that's just insane. Are you telling me that you never boo?? Again, I have no problem with anyone booing a complete and total lack of effort. And that's what happened in the 1st half. A complete lack of effort on the part of players & coaches.

I'll boo a shitty call by the refs and that's it. Why the frick would I boo players? Do you seriously think Lee wants to throw a pick? Do you think LaFell wants to drop a pass? No. Leaving at halftime when the score is 31-3 , as shitty as it may be, is one thing, but booing the starting QB during the pregame intros is absolutely despicable.

Good point! And 99% of people here have never, and will never, have to deal with that kind of abuse in their life.
