dude... it starts with the quarter back. how can you say he doesn't hold the most responsibility. not for the entire game, but for his picks that get run back. hes throws them in bad places that allow no tacklers for us. and he started it by throwing a pick! so he if doesn't throw one it never happens. yea everyone throws one time to time. but my god not 7 pick sixes in a row. so stop arguing for him, he needs to get better and thats that. thats all im trying to say.

So you booing and leaving early in protest helps him in what way?

Took the words right out of my mouth. Nobody is denying that he needs to improve. But, sitting here bitching about it isn't gonna help anything

I agree that the QB play has been horrendous.

But the kid is getting absolutely no credit for leading LSU to the biggest comeback ever.

that's fricking sad and it really shows what kind of person, and alot more people here, really are.

Too bad you didn't stick around, you could have booed him off the field after the victory. Just curious, how old are you?

He's probably not as old as you are dense.

I left halfway through the 2nd quarter. It was cold and it was an embarrassment. I also booed each time Lee took the field. Everyone else near me booed, too. That was pitiful.

Thanks for letting us know that you're a bandwagoning, piece of shite, worthless fan.

I didn't stay because I thought we could come back and win. I stayed because I wanted to watch. We started cheering for any good sign. JL threw a pass out of bounds b/c the receiver was covered - loud cheer. Pound out 10 yards for a first down. Cheer louder. Break up a pass instead of Troy receiver dropping the ball. Louder. It became fun. I still didn't think we would win. We could see that the players heard us and saw us. They gestured to us, and we cheered. Then it all happened. The positive cheering started before the comeback. It was a freaking cold night. I was underdressed. I usually don't yell much anyway at games. It was just fun, and then it seemed possible.

You could also tell immediately when JL's head cleared, and it wasn't until late in the game.

Sometimes when the stadium is full and the other team has the ball and it's third down, when everyone screams you really feel like you can affect the game. Saturday night, with only about 20k people left, and most of us screaming, I got that feeling. It was cool.

I actually KNEW we could come back and win, I wasn't sure we would, though. But seriously that 20k was just as loud as the 90k for GA and thats a fact.

to all you assholes that are so damn down on this win. you can take it however you like. yes the first 75% was the worst game game lsu has played in recent years. we had about 50 yds in the first half. pathetic. but the last quarter was amazing and showed the true potential of the lsu team. i dont care who you are or who youre playing 30pts in a quarter is damn near ridiculous. you can say troy blew it or you can say that we blew them out of it. we got them just as nervous and anxious as jarrett lee gets when he tosses all those pick6s. its college. thats why crazy shite like this continues to happen.

i personally applaud everyone on the team for not giving up hope and continuing to show to at least myself that we can be a damn strong team if we decide to be.

if we keep up that intensity from the 4th qtr. for the rest of the season, look out.

you can't revolve your argument around this game and the come back.

Hey Prominentwon... how does that old saying go? Never argue with an idiot, they drag you down to their level and beat you with experience.

Is that how it goes? I'm done

I agree. I was at both games till the end. Its at least true for the 4th quarter of both games.

Maybe all the fans that left TS the other night are the ones who don't yell much anyway. I think we're better off without them - if you aren't yelling, you're actually not only not doing us any good - you're doing us harm by absorbing the yelling of others. Take away all those bodies who aren't yelling and you get better acoustics for those remaining.

Again, how does your leaving in protest and booing change this? What would you recommend be done and how could things have been different this year?

@Prominentwon & @Ponson416

I agree with you guys. JL has got to play better, but like him or not the only thing you can do to make this situation better is to support him

theres nothing wrong with pointing out what he has done wrong, but to bitch relentlessly and demean the poor kid is disgusting. i cant say the same for all of our players, but if theres one person who has shown heart, its Lee. the amount of shite that he has had shoved down his throat, its amazing he hasnt suffocated yet.
