I didn't stay because I thought we could come back and win. I stayed because I wanted to watch. We started cheering for any good sign. JL threw a pass out of bounds b/c the receiver was covered - loud cheer. Pound out 10 yards for a first down. Cheer louder. Break up a pass instead of Troy receiver dropping the ball. Louder. It became fun. I still didn't think we would win. We could see that the players heard us and saw us. They gestured to us, and we cheered. Then it all happened. The positive cheering started before the comeback. It was a freaking cold night. I was underdressed. I usually don't yell much anyway at games. It was just fun, and then it seemed possible.

You could also tell immediately when JL's head cleared, and it wasn't until late in the game.

Sometimes when the stadium is full and the other team has the ball and it's third down, when everyone screams you really feel like you can affect the game. Saturday night, with only about 20k people left, and most of us screaming, I got that feeling. It was cool.

Nobody denies that... But, I'm sure it was ALL Lee's fault right? The rest of the team had absolutely nothing to do with the outcome right?

There was still over 5 minutes left in the game on that punt and Troy had ZERO first downs in the second half at that point. You don't think we could have got the ball back?
