Well, if he was going to piss on LSU, I doubt he would have been allowed to address the team

Plus, hes a players coach, and he recruited them all. So he does want them to succeed

Did all you people forget how he milked LSU with Arkansas and Michigan openings and oh, by the way, he makes like millions more than any of you.

Why does poor America always have such pity on rich people who could give two fricks about them?

One thing I've always believed is that he cared for the students on his team first and regardless of what has happened on the field in the last couple seasons he has always been a class act and loved these kids, I wish him and this team all the best!

Look, most folks agree that it was clearly time to move on. But it's very unfortunate IMO that certain folks are absolutely reveling in his firing.

It was obvious during his halftime interview vs jack state how close his demise was.

So every college football coach is a horrible person that never deserves warm feelings because of their income? GFY

Wanting LSU to win and hating our offense shitting the bed on a weekly basis is now classless because Miles was fired. Never change, Tiger rant. Never change.

He was lucky as hell to even appear in the first championship game!! He has underperformed with every team he had put on the field!!

why do people keeping lumping Michigan in this one?

in '07, it was in his contract to be the highest paid coach if we won a natty. he was getting that raise with or without Michigan.

the second time Michigan came around he didn't get a raise.

I agree it was time for a change. But I will always respect him for his character. You don't stay somewhere this long, and never have a single story or rumor that says you are anything less that a good man without it being true. He was in a no win situation coming here after Saban. But he handled it with class. His coaching always lacked and it was time for him to go. I hope our next hire is twice the football coach and at least half the class of man.

Are you telling me you wouldn't try to get a raise if the opportunity presented it self?

Interesting.

Our record is 12-8 since we beat Ole Miss in 2014, which was the same week his mom died. I've seen it suggested on here before that he kind of mentally checked out when that happened. Then there was Dural's comment that he couldn't remember the last time he "fussed" at anyone.

No doubt he loved his job, but maybe he didn't have the fire for it anymore.

How could this possibly be "a great day" for LSU?

Whether you like Miles or not (obviously you have an irrational hatred for him), today was a horrible day for LSU. The coach being fired highlights the disappointment that this season has become. If you were an actual fan, you would be disappointed that it came to this. Although it seems you would prefer us to lose so Miles would get fired rather than win it all and keep him as our coach.

Celebrating instability in a program you claim to like is pathetic.

BTW - any half way intelligent person knows that the odds of hiring the next Curley Hallman is much greater than getting the next Nick Saban. We're guaranteed nothing.

When did Dural say that about Miles not fussing at anyone? I don't remember hearing his before.
