I'm planning to be in NYC this weekend and I have heard Legends is the game day bar in the city. Will I need to get to the bar early to get in or is there enough seating that I can show up around gametime?

Since this isn't a big game, I think getting there around 3:15 PM will be fine...

But to be safe, I'd get there when they open just in case other people find out LSU is playing Bama.

Thanks for the sarcasm.

Just depends on how you want to watch it there. If you want a table near a screen so you can sit, eat, drink, etc. then I would get there about an hour before the game starts. If you’re good with standing around then getting there whenever works. The place is huge so there is plenty of standing room if that’s your thing.

Get there very early. It will be packed. I’d get a seat at either bar as it will otherwise take forever for drinks.

If you’re downtown you need to find your way to Stone St. and go to Adrienne’s Pizza Bar. Best Pizza I’ve ever had and it’s not close. Trust me ! Just do it !

FYI, they won't let you grab a table unless your entire party is present (or at least enough to justify a table, ie 3-4 others)

If you want to sit at the main bar, I'd advise getting there around an hour and a half early. For Auburn game, it started to fill up pretty quick as we got inside an hour to kick.

There are bars upstairs and down as well but TVs aren't as big and it's not quite as lively.

Get there early. I went a month ago and it was insanely packed for a lesser team. I just found a spot at the bar.

get there early. Also, you'll likely need a reservation to sit down upstairs- where the LSU section is. Anyway, call Legends today.

Do you think they will show the game?

One of the large bouncers is a huge LSU fan. I gave him my LSU socks last year after a few drinks and a win against MSU. I hope he kept them.

This is false. I help run the LSUNY group and in order to ensure getting a table I'm telling people to get there around noon. Most fans I've talked to are getting there for lunch and staying.

As far as just getting in, I'm telling people to arrive no later than an hour before kick-off, by kickoff Legends WILL be one-in, one-out.

In 2011, there was a line down the street to get in over an hour before. They ended up partnering with a bar a few doors down for spill over (or we all invaded not really sure). Both Legends and the bar near legends was packed beyond capacity.

I live in BR and will be in NYC for wifey’s bday weekend. Conditional on me being at Legends for the game, of course. I plan to get there 2 hours before kickoff. I’m Han Solo so I just need to get to the bar.

Going to be at Legends. I plan on arriving for noon kick offs and just being there all day. Have only been twice before, and never for a big game.

I would go to Legends to watch the game. I'm just saying if you want to eat ridiculous pizza go to Adrienne's. The crust is amazing. Stone St. is a small cobble stone street in downtown New York, about 2 blocks over from the Standards & Poors building. No car traffic on Stone St. It's not a very long street. Take an Uber to it. There probably won't be too many die hard fans at Legends.

I got there around 1 thinking I could put my rucksack down for an hour or two....didn't happen, ended up holding the fort for 8 hours before kickoff...
