Someone at work read me a line from the lair this morning that Lee and Mett split time with the first team over the weekend. Probably a sign that Jefferson is definitely not in the first game.

If JJ isn't playing, Lee is who I'd want.

He has real experience against SEC opponents. I don't want him starting too long, though. He regresses during a season like JJ regresses in an offseason.

He should be a good stop gap to get Mett ready to take the reins, assuming JJ is done (which I think he will be).

Jefferson would never have been starting if lee hadn't been hurt in 2008 during the ole miss game.

well, hopefully the coaches scheme to hide his weaknesses with a power running game and not get cute,,,vice just letting him sling him. LSU should be alright.
