heading up to his ranch in knoxville to be far away from the negatigers when he announces he is leaving for TAMU

I imagine he would go there regardless of the current situation.

If he stays, good. If he goes, we will get another guy, just gonna have to spend some money. His defense played slow and uninspired yesterday. I could care less where he goes. We were not ready to play on D yesterday. That is his fault.

and then....

You lose Chavis right now you also lose a extremely important defensive recruiting class. If Miles doesn't make a homerun Dick LeBeau like hire he will be all but done. LSU's football program and recruiting class will be picked apart like buzzards on a piece of road kill.

I realize that. I'm just playing along with all these other doomsdayers.

Most of these people saying the program is over are the same people that would be chastising Chavis if this TAMU stuff never came out and he was staying.

If he leaves, he leaves. We will get a quality replacement Im sure.

This news leaked before the game and the team heard about it. That's why they played flat.

Does that explain playing Nickel against 2 TE sets for a team that only passes a little more than we do? The players aren't the only ones to blame for what happened yesterday.

So we let him relax on the ranch and pay him 1.3 M?

I think I am done with Chavis

After that abortion of a coaching job he did yesterday and leading up to the game, good fricking riddance to him.

It's also new years eve the day after a bowl game. Most people even heavy recruiters would want to take day off.

It was probably scheduled to be an off time anyways.

Chavis does not recruit like some other staff members. I thought this was well known. His name alone brings in players.

It's bit us in the arse before and has been my only problem with Chavis in the past.
