Can't wait for Ed Orgeron to come in. We get 3 straight top recruiting classes, win 2 national titles, and then go on 10 yr probation for all of his recruiting violations

Chavis is all about loyalty. Tennessee did what they thought was best for them, he whined. Hypocrite

Turns out Chavis is not quite the man we thought 4 or 5 years ago.

It's pretty pathetic, really.

If you really really want a 4 year deal, and your employer offers you a 3 year one... is it not possible to find a way to take that and then work on the 4th year during the ensuing three years?

Chavis is throwing his players under a bus for some pretty petty bullshite

This is exactly how I feel about it. I've lost some respect for Chavis in the past 48 hours.

Chavis's teams at Tennessee were not a dominant defensive juggernaut like people are making them out to be. LSU brings him out of the pasture and acts like he is the God of defenses. This is what we get.

Your point? You can still recruit

Nope, we're both sticking around and cashing bigger checks than you.

Dead period means no visits. Phone calls are still legal.

You can't visit the recruit in person.

You can still contact a recruit via, email, social media, telephone once a day.

The simplest answer is the right one: A&M is getting Chavis and saving $400,000.

Not really saving the $400K, just giving it to Chavis instead as an incentive.

Actively recruiting is different than recruiting using your name recognition.

He can't call recruits from his ranch? Better yet, do you want him calling recruits?

Yes, he recruits. BUT like I said in the same post you responded to above, he does not recruit like others on staff.

It's obvious he doesn't enjoy it.

Again, I ask why you're arguing with me and what you're arguing about. Go back a read through our discussion.

Uh, no.

tackling is just effort
Tackling is an attitude. you either do it or you don't. Go back and watch highlights of the '03 defense. When they tackled it was violent and with bad intent. You play like you practice. They need to practice differently.
