As a fan, it was a joy to watch the game, in particular the first 40 or so minutes of play. Defense was making plays and the offense showed some creativity. That little bit of excitement changed how I felt while watching the game. It did get unnecessarily close but overall this was a hell of a lot more enjoyable than 7 of the first 8 quarters of football this year.

But people left after a half that features 2 trick plays, multiple reverses, awesome defense, passes attempted to every position.

Fournette fumbling twice was the best thing to happen to people that want to use les as an excuse on everythig.they didnt watch the 2nd half because the fun filled 1st half lead was enough in their mind to leave at halftime but the fumbles that let state get into the game still lets them squeeze in a narrative they already are dying to use

That "narrative" you're referring to is applicable in almost every game dumazz.

In the stadium those reviews seemed to take forever, none went our way and contributed to sucking the life out of the stadium in the second half. Did it appear that way on TV?

The players themselves finally looked like they were having fun out there. I mean even on the failed trick double reverse pass. The players came up smiling.

More high fives last night than we've had in a long time. Executed in every phase of the game and it was "fun" for 40 minutes.

That long drive was gonna end in points and the drive itself was a statement about this new teams capabilities.

I had fun watching the first half, and some moments of the second half. But it was great to see how excited our receivers were!

The 2 overturned reviews were questionable at best. Fournette's fumble on 4th in particular; we saw absolutely no angle in which there was indisputable video evidence that he was 1 foot short of the first down

It was great!!! Miles again took an easy win, what should have been a blowout and almost lost at the end. And I've seen teams score in a half when they had 2 turnovers and a few penalties. Great job miles. Let's threaten his job before every game and he may actually call a better game for a half again. You people must go through life expecting the bare minimum out of people.

In fairness, you're right. The first half was great.....the second half not so much.

It also felt like a more positive vibe in the stadium last night. Or least around me it felt that way. I think we are headed in the right direction. My faith restoration percentage probably went up another 5% last night.

Honestly if we play football like we did in the first half... For a whole game... And lose... I would be pleased (or accept the loss vs something like how we lost to Wisconsin or Bama of late)

Hanny and McClure agreed that even though these failed last night, it was good to see them as other coaches will have to prep for that wrinkle. IDK .. just repeating.

Y'all must of left in the 2nd half, because getting shut out and having a derpfest for an hour and a half vs an avg Moo St team was not my definition of fun. Should of blown those guys out at home.

Clearly there are no Lombardi speeches going on at halftime b/c the 2nd halves they keep shitting the bed. Going on for years now
