I see that the best team in the league comes from the West more often than not.
and that Ar-kansas, Ole Piss, Faggies and Moo Cows can keep their asses at the bottom of the division.

Nick Saban and Les Miles have been at their respective schools since 2007. In that time, Alabama has won the conference 3 times, LSU twice, and Auburn twice.

You first have to win the west to even think about a SECC. Arkansas, Ole Miss, Miss State and A&M weren't a threat or weren't in the West during that run. The west is a animal now that any of the seven teams can win it.

That hasn't changed... the cream always rises to the top, as they say.
Arkansas's vaunted rushing attack last year was superior only to UT, UK, Vandy, and two spread passing teams, and they lose a plethora of defensive playmakers. They've also won 2 conference games in as many years.
Ole Miss is breaking in a new quarterback in a system that has absolutely no balance with the running game and loses major contributors in their secondary.
State returns Dak Prescott, but loses nearly every other starter from both sides of the ball.
A&M is in pretty much an identical situation to Ole Miss, except that Ole Miss actually has a pulse on defense.
You're a fool if you think anyone other than Les, Nick, or Gus is winning the division this year.

83% chance winner of SEC is from the West during that time span. I'd say its higher than that this year.

I see that LSU and Auburn are both constants in each period there. Auburn's the only Alabama school we really have to worry about.
