In this case, yes. TigerDroppings posters easily called for Perkins to play more and great things happened because of it. Should’ve been plying earlier.. should’ve been playing against Tenn

Maybe #40 is coming along slowly learning more each week of practice on field and film room?

Perkins certainly helped, but the defensive adjustments shut Lane down.

I don't even mind Perkins playing the middle alongside Baskerville he can't be any worse than Penn. has to be the slowest linebacker we've had in a while - Penn has good instincts he just doesn't have the motor. I'm glad Tolian is getting more snaps but man he completely blew a zone assignment and if dart his that receiver it was probably a TD in the 2nd or 3rd quarter.

JC, pump the brakes
Maybe let's watch him play a full season of college ball before talking about his NFL Hall of Fame qualities.

The best thing about that video is the “Geaux!…Tigers!” chant that drowns out the press conference (around the 3:40 mark). Lol

They learned their lesson with UT. Kid needs to be on the field at the least as a spy edge rusher which is what he did yesterday. He’s just too good to leave on the bench. Kinda funny we started shutting them down once he went in. With him and BJ teams can only double one of them.

We lined up Perkins almost out to the slot on several plays which let him run free at Dart forcing Dart to hand the ball off or get rid of it much quicker than he wanted.

Yes, I'm absolutely sure that Kelly and Denbrock talked midway through the first quarter and said, "Maybe those geniuses on TigerDroppings are right. Let's try playing Perkins."

Perkins has great potential, a ways off from Devin White right now. Let's hope he gets there, needs some bulk.

I like his size right now. It’s just a difference of opinion but, I think for a hybrid LB he has the perfect combo of size and speed

#40 fits every damn scheme you can think of. This is coach speak from Kelly. It’s hard for a team to plan for what they haven’t seen. The less film the better. But the LSU defensive staff absolutely knows this kid is more than special. And the unintended genius of yesterday was bringing him in after it was too late for Ole Piss to really adjust! Loved it!

The after the play personal foul is what Saban will go for. Get some dispensable Alabama player to get under Perkins' skin with hope he reacts improperly to get ejected from the game.
