I’m gonna assume this guy has never even seen an SEC Women’s Game since KM has came to LSU.

Obvious that they did nothing until long after that column sat out there for an entire day. And they waited until after midnight eastern time to edit it, a full 8 hours or so after they got called out on it. A “sorry, not sorry” move if there ever was one.

The LA Times edit includes a line about some parts of the column not meeting its editorial standards. It’s obvious the LA Times has no editorial standards.

Just think, what if we had a high office government official that thought and talked the way CKM does.

You know you fricked up when in a span of a few hours you have almost the entire online world taking up for Kim over something you wrote.

Note because I know some will misinterpret what I wrote: this is not a statement about Kim. I love our coach and support her 100%. This is a comment about how the whole world (that pays attention to WBB) except for LSU fans was fairly united against Kim until this article came out and then everyone started saying “I still don’t like her, but this is over the line.”

Ben Bolch is the face of racism and sexism in America. The LA Times shouldn't stand for "reporters" that are racist and sexist, like Ben Bolch.

I'm am surprised that noted racist and sexist Ben Bolch has a job.

Win or lose Kim knows how to handle to biased media. As a Baylor alum and and huge LSU fan I have seen her attacked so often for years bc she thinks like most every American but we are led to believe we are a minority in this great country. Not everyone can use a platform like hers to silence and embarrass the scum that is the liberal media.
… Spot on… YES… THIS

"Basketball villains". Would never read this, but I'm curious what makes him, or anyone else for that matter, think we are such villains.

This "writer" is such a POS.

I didn't read either articles aside from quotes posted elsewhere, but this is pretty funny. It's like closing the barn doors after the horses are already out.

It got a lot more attention than I thought it would. Even SportCenter covered it. For once, Mulkey has some support in the media.

Yeah it’s too late. They only did that because Kim called them out. They claim it didn’t meet their standards . It got past their editors the first time, so what changed? frick them I hope LSU files a suit against them on behalf of the ladies and Kim.

Update:

10:10 p.m. March 30, 2024 A previous version of this commentary did not meet Times editorial standards. It has been updated.
Now behind a paywall, LOL. They must be really proud of this article to bury it so quickly.

Is this shitty? Yea.

Is this also bulletin board material for a team that’s gonna have to play the best game of their season in a rematch with the team they whipped up on last year in the natty?

Also yes.

CKM made that exact point in the presser.

Yeah that’s not how it works LA times we all know the dumb crap yall initially wrote. But I shouldn’t surprised this is the same despicable media outlet that still lets Bill Plashke write complete BS.
