not surprised white is taking over for collins. figured that would happen eventually this season. collins is a good player but i've never seen him as a lockdown starter for us.

i'll be shocked if robinson takes over for mills.

What am I missing about Robinson? Why did he just join the team? Where has he been?

Freshman cornerback Tre'Davious White could be moved into the starting lineup as early as Saturday's game against Kent State in place of Jalen Collins.

motherfricking nana

defense is gonna be sick

When that happens, starting cornerback Jalen Mills will likely move to the third cornerback spot and Collins to the bench

excellent

bench. Micah Eugene is currently the nickel corner but he may move into the starting lineup in place of safety Ronald Martin.

ronald martin has not been very good. I don't know about eugene but we are in desperate need of a safety

my other concern with the defense is the pass rush. holy shite. and welter needs to be benched permanently.

This is what happens when talent shows up. I'm all for it. The best players play, and competition makes great practices.

make those changes in the secondary along with Loston (who wasn't mentioned) and Welter and this defense could turn out to be pretty stout. Can't see Eugene taking Martins starting spot though. A secondary with Jefferson and Martin/Thompson/Eugene at Safety and White/Robinson and Dwayne Thomas on the corners with Kwon, Louis, and Barrow at LB would probably one of the best in the country and more up to our usual standards.

If they tackled him around the ankles it would be no problem

Loston needs to stay. Average CB play is what kills safeties. He's a legit all american candidate.

It's all about competition. Just because you were the best we had last year doesn't mean you are still the best.

Jtfo you do know Robinson is 164 pounds and white is under 175 this has to be the stupidest article. How do you think Robinson would fare with a 230 lb gurley running at him or a 200+ lb reciever manhandling them off the line.

because the best cb on the team got beat for the first time this year?
It was more than that one play, FWIW. Missed 2+ tackles, lost contain several times, took bad angles.

Not saying he should be benched, but if he were, it wouldn't be because of that one play.

I don't think people understand how small 164 is to be playing at d-1 football especially in SEC that means most receivers have a 25+ 30+ lb strength and weight advantage on you plus you have to tackle 210+ rb's your body would start to break down not to mention getting blocked and ran over.

Guess how much Tyrann Mathieu weighs dipshit?

He was replaced last night by Tre White, and there was plenty of talk that it could be for good. You don't ever stray off the rant, do you?

he was 165 his freshman year at lsu. Size doesnt matter that much at corner, but they do need to be able to hit in open field. it usually doesnt matter because corners and safeties gang tackle.

tre white is lightning in a bottle and will be great as a starter. We just need a pass rusher to step up, either beckwith or bower but we really need a pass rush
