He was a 5 star and the top overall recruit in the nation at one time. He was supposed to be the next PP. that's exactly the way people hyped him.

Get the sand out of your vagina.

The kid has great coverage but has been blowing the coverage by not looking for the ball. If he turns around then he could be having a hell of a season. Instead receptions are being caught against him when there should not be.

The coaches should be pounding this into his head. Its very teachable.

Well, if it takes time to learn it, it seems like we might need to give some other guys a shot until he learns. We're going to be playing teams who will start to exploit him soon. He is our weak link in the secondary, in my opinion.

Those younger guys are getting reps in practice right now. I'm sorry but there is a YHUGE difference between playing corner in high school and college.

Outside of QB and O--line, that's the toughest jump.

He's doing fine. He made some nice plays on the short routes, which is hard to defend. Gave up some jump balls by not turning. Our secondary has caused many a sack as well.

You know he had a surgery in the off season right? missed spring and was held out (rightfully so) most of camp?

When you are away from the speed of the game for that amount of time it takes a minute to get it back. All that said he is far and away the best option there.

Tolliver looked great last year. He did miss a lot of practice due to the surgery. It's too soon to write him off for a couple games early in the season. Every DB has his worst games.. even the likes of Patrick Peterson, Richard Sherman, and Darrelle Revis.

If you want to know the deficiency in any secondary, just look at which corner is getting picked on the most. And KT has gotten picked on a shite ton the first 3 games. It ain't no fluke.

Good point Katy Tiger.

Right now Tolliver isn't playing with much confidence, and that's a dangerous thing for CB's to lack confidence. Tolliver has actually been in decent position on many of these completions, but at some point you've for to look and play the ball. When you are stride for stride, and in the WR's hip pocket, you've got to find the ball. Coach Raymond will fix this or he will sit the bench.

I'm more concerned with the way he's shying away from contact. Don't expect him to be super aggressive, but he looks afraid of contact in the first 3 games. Hope he improves, he's too talented to play this poorly.

I haven't watched the replay but if that's the case, that's a bigger problem to fix.

To everyone saying he should look back, it's not that easy. If you always look back you'll get burned bad on double moves

Unfortunately, so far he has looked like the second coming of Demetrius Hookfin. He is far too quickly filling up a highlight film for receivers making great catches when very tightly covered.

KT sticks very closely to whoever he is covering, but always has his back to the QB and has no idea where the ball is or when it is coming.

My biggest issue with Tolliver is that he can't get anyone on the ground tackling. He feebly tries to strip folks as they carry him for another 5-10 yards and the calvary arrives to actually tackle the guy.

So you call giving up a pass reception blown coverage?? I've seen him look for the ball more times then not. You think he starts at corner for LSU and never looked for the ball before. Come on man. I just finished watching NFL corners get burnt not looking for the ball all sunday. Like I said d jack had a bad game last week and was crusified. Nobody had shite but good things to say about tolliver before this game. Just like nobody had shite but good things to say about d jack before the JSU game.

He played well last year though. He played all year we just rarely saw him (I think) because opposing QBs couldn't throw his way. Hopefully he'll correct his issues this weekend, if not, I'd like to see Fulton in there.

Against Wisconsin, he got mauled on a play. He had TERRIBLE tackling technique.
