Tolliver is not playing as well as he did last season. He is capable of playing much better, and as you said, his tackling is not good.

I was gonna post this last week but felt it was to soon however since you brought it up, I'm with you on this one brudda.

Good thing is, Tolliver and Jackson will improve on their tech.

I hope.

I'm in agreement 100%. I'm not saying he's awful but he needs to be benched until he get's his head into it again. Maybe I'm wrong and I'm too lazy to look it up because it doesn't matter either way, but I FEEL like we haven't had a ballhawk on this team since Honeybadger. There were multiple drops by our secondary Saturday like they had no idea how to catch. I've seen some interceptions but nothing like we used to have when we EARNED the reputation as DBU.

If you want to know the deficiency in any secondary, just look at which corner is getting picked on the most. And KT has gotten picked on a shite ton the first 3 games. It ain't no fluke.

A. A lot of that is because Tre White drags his balls all over his WR's face all game and the QB can't even think about throwing to that side.

B. KT is in position almost all the time and just doesn't look for the ball. He'll be fine.

My biggest issue with Tolliver is that he can't get anyone on the ground tackling. He feebly tries to strip folks as they carry him for another 5-10 yards and the calvary arrives to actually tackle the guy.

This is also true.

He's a shitty tackler. But luckily for him, that's not always a deal breaker for CBs if they're good enough in coverage.

Neon Deion was a horrendous tackler, not saying KT is Deion at all obviously, just making a point.

Agreed. Not just this game, but since he has been here. He is small and weak and gets out-muscled for the ball a lot by big receivers.

When I pointed this out in another post, a poster called me a "football moron."

Anyone who understands the game can see that Tolliver is just not physical enough when the ball is in the air. This is a weakness that has been and will be exploited by good passing teams.

Unfortunately, so far he has looked like the second coming of Demetrius Hookfin

Let's not go crazy here. He is struggling right now, but to compare him to Hookfin is just dirty.

He has the same problem LSU dB's always have. He plays the receiver only and doesn't look back for the ball. That makes for an easy completion if the pass is on target.

I think Tolliver is one hell of an athlete, bit it seems as though he is better suited to play safety. IMO
Tolliver and Adams at Safety with Jackson and White at Corner sounds dangerous. #GeauxTigers

Since the QB position can't be shite on the Rant has shifted to Dupre first (albeit somewhat warranted given the hype), and now Toliver.

The guy missed 6 months because of injury, yet has come back and is playing pretty well despite clearly being rusty.

kinda funny how last game everyone was ready to bench Donte and now everyone is piling on KT

Well since LSU revolutionized football by instituting the forward pass our always happy fans have to look elsewhere to find something to complain about.
