Yep, it's basically a tryout. Very slim chance he makes the actual roster, but good that he is getting his shot.

So, if Hornsby and Quarterman make it and we had the #2 pick in the NBA draft, that would be, what, 4 NBA players on the team last year and we still couldn't make the NCAA tourney?
I know it is an if, but even getting signed to the preseason team means he is obviously pretty good.

Damn I wish the Pels would have given him a shot. He would be a perfect fit. Really good shooter who would have to keep the defense honest. A hell of a rebounder for his size. In on lots of steals and will block a shot. Puts in great effort on defense. But his intangibles is one of my favorite things about him.
I can see where he has all these good skills but maybe not NBA league ready. I would love to bring him in and see what he could do.
