I’ll wager he goes between 55-75

He must have the same agent as Lamar Jackson

I feel like some of you guys are frozen in time on Boutte, like nothing really exists for him after the Ole Miss game where he absolutely crushed them with speed and skill.

I would submit to you that perhaps Justin Vincent would be a comp we could learn some things from. If you froze time in 2003 and asked where Justin Vincent would be taken if eligible, most anyone would say first or second back taken, if you liked Steven Jackson more.

FF to 2007 after the knee injury and struggles, and he went undrafted. Again, I think Boutte is drafted, but 55-75 seems like a very difficult ask at this point. Treating Boutte like 2003 Vincent when evaluating him instead of 2007 Vincent, is where I see a problem may exist.

He's clearly getting terrible advice. He should have fired his agent or whoever told him to do the drills he did at the combine within 24 hours of the combine. It's almost as if he's intentionally tanking his draft status. I've never seen a guy enter a season as a consensus first round prospect and potentially fall all the way to being undrafted without some intervening unprecedented event occurring like La'el Collins

He's thinking that one "4.5" unofficial is the best thing he has going for hm.

The NFL has shown time and again that they will draft a guy who flashed excellent speed or skills earlier than they should even if his production dropped off and he didn't have great combine numbers. Even with Boutte obviously not returning to form after the knee injury, some team will take a flier on him by the fifth, maybe by the third.

Seems like a total collapse since the injury. I hope he finds his footing in the NFL because I still think he can be a high level starter in the league.

They won't use that time, they will use the 4.51 he ran on his other attempt. Still not elite but there are many great WR's running no better than 4.5.

I am surprised he did not run at LSU Pro day, as those times tend to be much faster than combine times.

Every major decision he has made since his freshman year has been mind-boggling.

How many of them came into the draft with major questions about their work ethic and commitment, though?

Roughly 1/5 of his career yards and TD came from one COVID year game in the rain against a depleted DB group that had basically mailed it in

Sounds skerries, No Bueno.
Gotta have the want to improve from the Combine.

Seems like he has some underlying psychological issues. Hope I’m wrong.

Kayshon is either getting bad advice, or he’s not listening to those advising him. U fortunately, these are all bad omens/red flags for his football future.

His decision making continues to be questionable. Good luck to him! No one player is bigger than LSU

He definitely needs to reevaluate the people he has advising him. Costing himself alot of money

Possession receivers, sure, but he’s supposed to be the “take the top off the defense” WR. He’s also only 5’11 195 lbs.
