Goes to Garrett Stubbs of USC. Similar stats, but edge should've went to Kade.

I don't know a way to find their caught stealing %, but if Stubbs wasn't close to 50%, then it was robbery.

Probably writers based out of LA that chose the winner. Biased left coast BS.

The guy threw out 28/53 attempts. 53%. I think this was the deciding factor. Kade was 37%.

Sciv had only 2 pass balls compared to 4 and fewer wild pitches against him. And he was much better offensively.

I'm blown away.

The most consistent and my actual mvp of the #1 team all season passed for a guy with weaker stats.

Kade was tremendous all season behind the plate.

Runners were 38-80 in SB attempts against USC. How many of those were against Stubbs, I couldn't tell you. But I'd bet his was around 50%

Opponents were 46-73 against LSU, again don't know the exact number against Kade but I'm sure it's not far off from that

If Johnny Bench was dead, he'd be rolling over in his grave. Since he's not dead however, he can shake his head in disbelief or give a WTH!? look.

Kade was the best catcher in the best conference.

Pac-12 is no slouch...but still not as good as what Kade saw each week.
