Right now I'd say he's the 3rd or 4th best pitcher on the team. Unless he regains his form quickly LSU will need to perform like Fresno St. a few years ago - relentless hitting from every position in the order.

The more i think about Poche, the more i think that CPM should rest him until the regional and not pitch him again this tournament. Give his arm some rest and save him for game three of the regional next week.

Coach is probably posturing for the best possible regional spot, thinking that he probably needs 1 or two wins in the SEC Tourn to secure #1. Poche did't throw much last night and should be ready for the regional if needed. I would think our aces will be on a fairly low pitch count if/when we see them as well.
