Besides, the voting portion is an irrelevant addendum to my analogy. . .which was very appropriate. I added one for movies, though, if you want to keep whining.

What coach will want to come to LSU , when the fans ( whom say they love LSU) wants to get rid of a coach , that haS given LSU it's most successful period in our history?

I hear you, but I'm thinking lots of coaches would want to come to LSU after seeing what has been done here in the last decade and seeing the money on the table if they are successful.

Anyway, good coaches could care less bout fan opinion. NS and UM both pretty much told fans/reporters to f---off if they didn't like what they were doing. Even Les plays with fans and reporters with his aswers to questions. He just does it in a more "make nice" fashion. imo

The powers that be at LSU care bout 2 things...selling out TS and wins.

The idea that Joe is gonna sit LM down and slap his wrist over the O he runs when whatever O LSU runs has resulted in more wins since 05 than any other team playing BCS in that time period is laughable. imo

Though the past three weeks ( last week especially ) were really disappointing - firing Les is the most illogical and asinine inference from those events.

Wait till we lose a couple more games... You might change your mind then...

...make no mistake, Alleva has no juice over Les. The board does and the TAF wield a huge stick, but Alleva is more tied to the other sports.

No. Sensible humans realize that even great coaches have bad years. Considering last season, 2 SEC Championships, a BCS NC, and a sick record, I don't think anyone has any rational reason to get rid of him. He starts dropping 4-5 a year for a few, then we'll talk.

Not to mention, it isn't like Miles' issues are a secret known only to the negatigers.

They are well documented.

Most people think our coach is a dumbass.

There is not ONE D-I head coach on this board chatising Les.......so, your point is moot.

I have a 13 year undefeated dynasty on Xbox.
I am not a politician either, but I don't have to be to know Obama isn't the right leader for this country. I do however believe CLM to be the right coach for LSU. No coach can forsee suspensions and injuries. Anyone can look at his record and see he is a quality coach. What I don't know is if he is the type of coach who can overcome this much adversity. When you have this much misfortune the only thing that doesn't change is a majority of the fan bases expectations. I am waiting to see how he handles it, I hope he will earn his fat arse check.

I've met the guy.

He isn't stupid.

He just coaches scared too often, and lets past failures rule him.

The dumbass impression most people get, is for the same reason people thought Bush was an idiot:

A handful of misspeaks, and his nationally televised job mistakes.
