Don’t get why people hate on Pate. He tells it like it is and most of time is right.

I don’t watch him regularly, usually just when I see a clip of him discussing LSU.

He usually has some thoughts or rationale behind his opinions. More than you can say for a lot of the talking heads on college football.

I'm a big fan of the guy. He knows his stuff, doesn't spew hot takes and he always comes across as pro-LSU. He doesn't dump on Kelly for ditching Notre Dame and being an a-hole like a lot of national guys do.

I was very disappointed in how he handled that. He absolutely flip flopped. I didn't think he was that kind of a person.
I also don't like how every single offseason Pate says watch out for A&M. And every single season they lose like 4-5 games. He loves to play up to several fan bases. I also don't like how much of a Bama homer he is, but at least he admits he is bias towards them. He thinks the world of Saban. I'm so glad Michigan won after he said Bama wouldn't lose another game.

I was probably one of the biggest Pate fans before many even knew of him, but not nearly as much of a fan now. I'll probably still watch his takes, but I won't seek them out like I use to.
