I haven't seen him post anything obviously racist (I'm not saying he didn't) but I don't stalk posters. I just post in topics that interest me. I have no idea who BRAVEHEART is but sounds like there are some entertaining threads with him in them?

Welter needs to change is number. 31 looks like second string safety. Maybe 53 or 56 would improve his image

Sometimes the message means something else, like maybe the other guys with a little more athletic ability didn't understand the defense enough to know what to do. But sometimes it takes time on the field to quicken that reaction time. We have had other guys go from not so great as juniors to outstanding seniors (seems like we had a safety a few years back that could not tackle as a junior but was all SEC material as a senior). Give the guy the benefit of the doubt until he proves his coach is wrong. At least this means linebacker play overall should be improved.

Ray Lewis is a true 6'1 240 pounder, I see Welter a lot at the bars and he's not even close to that. Looks more like 6' in shoes and 220ish to me

BRAVOHEART is the most blatant racist on Tiger Rant. I don't venture to Politics and OT, but from what I've heard, they are pretty obvious over there.

That was his weight the last couple of years of his career - for most of his career, he was around 260 lbs. His frame is much bigger than Welter's.

Don't be ridiculous. What is notable though, is that Chavis said on the radio yesterday that his system is designed in a way that the middle linebacker should lead the team in tackles. If that's the system, then the guy he trots out there has to be able to make the tackles and make plays. So Chavis must endeavor to put an impact player in the lineup at what he considers his most important position. If Welter is that guy, great. If he isn't, you have to find the guy that can fill that role and quick. It is too important to his scheme.

You are right and Tigrlee has some great quotes from there. They are a little less cautious there because they are among their peers. And they are supported in their opinions. In one of their rants he participated in they are offended that Southern's band had the audacity to spell out the President's name during one of their performances at the Bayou Classic. It is a must read. Astounding!
