I like it.

It's clearly not a move to replace Nuss. Just a solid backup who has playing experience in the event Nuss gets injured. And he can be our bridge QB until Underwood is ready.

Are you assuming Collins transfers?

Collin Hurley says hi.

Kid knows how to read defenses already, has been in a professional throwing program since he was 12, and is graduating a year early.

Anybody seen this guy play or know much about him? I'll admit I never watch North Carolina State play.

I did really like the highlights of the Boise quarterback, though.

I can’t imagine that being the case and I was extremely excited about him when he committed. His stats this year are bizarre for a talented high school QB on an extremely talented team. Something is off

Seems like kind of a weird deal. Was 3-1 as a sophomore starter at NC State, then told the coaches, "Yeah, I think Imma go ahead and just sit the rest of this season out. Catch y'all next year."

Have to think that caused bad blood leading to the coaches deciding "to go in a different direction."

Didn't want to leave, but NC State is moving on

His stats aren't good and his video highlights are not impressive. He looks like a poor man's JD5.

Are you available for hire? Because if you can thoroughly asses a kid's raw talent through stats you saw on ESPN and probably 5ish minutes of YouTube "film" then I would imagine BK would want you on staff ASAP.

Let's not forget JD5 was a poor man's JD5 coming over from ASU. Bad coaching, no development, but raw talent. Sloan and Denbrock helped build him up and make him an elite, elite QB.

Morris is a mobile, strong armed quarterback who's ran a lot of RPO and had significant playing time compared to our other backups. It's a smart decision to grab someone and this guy fits our style.
