Herb, JJ, then Mauck before he had the foot injury. Achilles?

Randal might be the best athlete to play QB at LSU.

I doubt it. Herb was a damn good QB, but it's not really about him. The OP was so fricking rediculous there are alot of posters responding. To suggest that JJ was the best QB in any attribute is absolute blasphemy. He has been absolutely putrid the last two years, unless he has at least two weeks to prepare.

And frankly it's taken him until this year to learn to run the option IMHO, and even now it still looks a bit shakey many times.
he's run it pretty well since the mid point of last year.

I don't know about that. Maybe from the Cotton Bowl on.

I think he finally got the timing down on the read option mid-point last year...he had struggled with that alot too IMHO.

But the down the line option, I think he struggled with until this year and even though we've been much more successful with it this year, it still isn't nearly as smooth as with ole Herb.

I can't recall how many times I've watched JJ hold the ball until he was two feet from the sideline before pitching it to a back who had no where to go.

The OP is a J. Lee lover ! People start shite like this to bash JJ to make the fan club feel better about J.Lee not starting !

Nelson Stokley

The only thing that stopped Nelson was injuries. His son has had an excellent NFL career.

Mike Hillman was another good one.

freaking troll

You have to be a threat before a duel threat. Duel requires running and passing and He is certainly lacking at least one of those threats.

4 more quarters of JJ.

Which one is he lacking? JJ has done more for LSU than any of you pu$$y bitches. Get a life and stop shitting on the starting qb of the team you cheer for and his brother is a good prospect we are trying to land.

Not really. It typically involves 10 paces and a couple of pistols

I suspect we will find out next season what a really effective passing game along with a really effective running game will get you. At least i hope so, oh well as they say As the World Turns. I guess the outcome of the NC game will also add fire to this thread when it is all said and done.

He can run at times - and way too much is made out of that. What is the second "threat"? 5 for 13 vs. GA? 4 regular season TD passes last year? He's a legend in your own mind.

JJ isn't the best all-time anything at LSU.

In fact, if we win the BCSCG, he will be one of the worst QBs ever on a team that won the NC.

Yeah ok lil bitch boy. I'm not a JJ fanboy and I want JLee to start, but he is LSU starting qb and has gotten nothing but boos since playing here.
