FTR if we could keep Lee's jersey clean, he could be a real good qb. Maybe even great.

Lee has kept his image clean. Looking at some of the records of our other QB's. His interception record does not look as bad. The kid got threw under the bus as a red-shirt freshman and Crowton had him throwing the ball in the middle of the field and the TV announcers were saying. Why are they asking this kid to do that? JL gutted it out and played well. I hate what happened to him this year.

There's a chart on this board that show JJ has a better qb than a LSU all sec qb.

This is a tribute to the coaching staff and how they've "protected" the QBs ever since JL's RSFr year, not a tribute to JJ's ability. Had Crowton not been a total idiot that year, JL's rating would look much better over his career, and he may have never lost the starting job.

Both QB's were victims of inept coaching and play selection. Now, the staff just has to work around the weaknesses. They could both have been so much better.

I agree. Jarrett threw the ball well and was being compared to Brett Farve. If not for Crowton and his idiocy, Jarrett might have had a good career. Nevertheless, he redeemed himself in the eyes of the fans. I am one of the fans who never liked his mistreatment. It wasn't JJ's doing that Crowton couldn't coach but it hurt both players careers.

You sure as hell are not going to show your face when bama is beaten for the third time within 14 months.

I would like you to give us your handle in any other forum so that we can continue to enjoy your illogical and incessant whining.

I will pop back after the game either to congratulate LSU or to read your whining and excuses. If you win you'll completely deserve it. Winning twice can't be considered a fluke no matter how lucky you might really be, but I'm pretty sure we're going to find out that Nov5 was just that- a big fluke.

JL had a great year up until the Bama game and I think he was a little unlucky in t-town. I think he's the only real chance LSU has to score offensively. But if Les didn't play him in the UGA game its doubtful he'll play Jan9.

You gotta consider Flynn, he was better at changing direction than JJ

Is that what getting beat in your own house is called these days...a big fluke!

I would call it crapping out against a better team on that day, but whatever helps you sleep better.

JL was being pulled from games and saw the writing on the wall. The coaches messed with his confidence and timing by taking away practices and playing time. Miles admitted later that he wasn't getting very many practice snaps. JJ was getting the most and JL was getting fewer and fewer. Les Gave Krags the directive to help JJ improve his game. Les named his starter before the first practice and never changed his mind.

"He" didn't beat Bama.
Without JJ, we lose to Bama.

It's all about him.
That's the underlying fact about our entire fanbase.

Side A:
If the offense struggles with JJ at the helm, he gets nearly all the blame. If the offense does well with JJ at the helm, it was a team effort (or it was done despite him).

Side B:

If offense struggles with JJ, it was anything but JJ. If the offense does well, it was all JJ.

I respond to you, because you fit neatly in this category.

I was surprised to find that he is one of the LEAST accurate LSU QB's since Hallman.

If it makes you sleep better JJ is best ever should retire the 9 Jersey. Now come to think of it we should write him into history like a Julius Ceasar.
