Jimbo's going through a divorce and has two kids at home. One has a rare blood disease.

What if his soon-to-be ex-wife gets custody of the kids and doesn't come to Baton Rouge?

We tend to forget about family issues with these coaches that move around so frequently. Does this personal matter impact Jimbo's decision?

I believe it has been posted prior that Jimbo's family has a doctor that they like in Baton Rouge.

As far as Jimbo's wife, she can find BBC in BR.

Why would she get the kids. Wasn't she doing the ole hippity dippity with some UF player/NFL washout/personal trainer?

His wife is to busy being a socialite whore to worry about trivial matters like childhood disease.

LSU, ULL, and Tulane all have plenty former wide receivers living in the BR area. She'll be just fine.

If the kid's doctor is in BR, coming to LSU may give Jimbo an advantage in a custody battle.

If he gets a 700k per year raise and she gets custody of the children, it is worth an extra 140k per year in child support to her, at 20%. This is incentive to move to BR.

While she is a whore, we don't have any information to give perspective on exactly how greedy she is. Does the difference between 1 million and 1.14 million matter to her?

This to me is one of the biggest factors. Is the doctor for his son really in baton Rouge? I know they go up to Minnesota for treatment at times.

But in the end they were able to work through it I guess? You still confident with what you have said?

This thread really needs to die. It's really crossing the line.

The kid's doctor is not in Baton Rouge. The fact that this keeps getting posted on the Rant just demonstrates the high degree of ignorance going around the board right now.

The kid's primary doctor is in Minnesota. Other doctors are located in FL.

And the divorce is a huge factor in getting Jimbo to move. The man is in the middle of making custody arrangement with his soon to be Ex. She and the kids have a life in FL. I don't see her just moving to BR just to be accommodating. And I don't see Jimbo leaving his kids behind.

I started this thread. How in the world is it crossing the line?

I'm merely asking whether Jimbo's personal situation has an effect on his decision. I assume it would, and rightly so. I'm not saying anything negative about him, his ex-wife, or kids.

Just wondering how much this non-football issue is a factor.
