It is really hard to say I don't believe in moral victories after that game. I know a loss is a loss but damn. Did anyone else see those two freshman olinemen play out of their minds against the best defense in cfb? Hard not to get excited about that!

This generation finally got OUR USC 1979 game. Older folks I'm sure were pissed as hell for while after that game knowing it was within reach and nobody, nationally anyhow, gave LSU a chance in hell at winning. Sound familiar?

We were there. We can tell our kids and the LSU students in 2030 about how loud it was that night for 59 minutes and again for the team after the game. Plus we'll have tons of media to back it up.

Man, it sucks that Hill even has to tweet that.

Have we become that hard to please, such that young men representing a school that we love, playing their collective hearts out and asses off, and giving complete effort have to worry about being forsaken by a bunch of old men?

God, I hope not.

Losing generally sucks, and the loss to Alabama is a specifically toothier suck than most others. We'll lose again before I die. If future young men representing LSU lose while playing the way these young men played this past Saturday, I'll be ok with it.

Actually, considering all that has happened, this has been an ok team, and will be better next season. I was heading to the game Saturday and got in a serious auto accident. Due to injuries, I will miss the rest of the season, but will pull for them on TV. Hell no, I ain't giving up on them ..... or me.

Jeremy, your tweet caused me to get a bit choked up. I've been focused too much on my own pain, but your tweet has forced me to think more about the players and their pain. It's time for all fans to put this loss behind us, and to re-energize the players with our total support for the rest of the season. We will never quit supporting you and the rest of the players who give their all for LSU. Go Tigers! Forever LSU!

You have nothing to worry about, JH.

Took a day or 2 to get over the loss, but I think the fans will have shaken it off by Saturday. Ready to roar this weekend!

I'm glad that people are getting over this loss. This game did a lot for recruiting and respect in the college football world. To all the fans the made Tiger stadium very loud.
