Anyone notice that from the snap Jennings was locked in on Dural?

Never looked at another receiver. Nice.

Because Cam called that play specifically to go to Dural.

There was an earlier play where the CB bit on the underneath route by Landry and Dural was wide open.

They were running the same play again and expecting to happen exactly what happened.

First off, in pretty sure he gave Landry a glance which got dural open.

Secondly, locking on to a receiver isn't a good thing.

It was kinda the point if you've heard what Les has said since the game ended. Cam thought they had a chance at Dural being open because the corner had been cheating inside to double Landry.

They'll work on that in the off-season. Lots of new starting QBs do it.

I love the quick release on that throw. Nothing like a wind up motion that some QB's have. Real quick.

Was that Dural's only catch?

Look at the gif. From the snap he is looking left at Dural.

Not saying it is. Pointing out that even though he was locked in Dural still got free on the double move and Jennings laid it in perfectly. Really excited about what these two will do together in 2014 and beyond.

Thanks. It was obvious he was locked in from the snap. That explains why.

If there was a double move, the corner didn't see it. Landry coming across is what made the corner stop for an instant.

He was reading one side of the field. Safety and corner went after Landry, he threw it over their heads.

Great job by Jennings to make the throw. Great job by Dural to make the play.

But this play was about:

1- Cam realizing before hand that this play was going to be open (I'm sure he didn't even expect it to be that open). Great coach making a huge difference

2- Landry being an absolute beast and having the entire secondary worried about him busting free (even the ones who were supposed to be guarding Dural).

you can't see shite on that gif, from the live replay during the game you can clearly see him check Landry before going back to Dural...

Not seeing it but it does not matter. Arky would have been crazy not to double up #80 on that play regardless as to what #10 did at the snap. Cam took advantage and Jennings to Dural delivered. Awesome.

They had 4 guys head toward him when AJ pulled his arm back.

Replay from the end zone camera clearly showed it
