Oh my. That's awful. It's like when he said there is no competition

People want their qb to be confident but you also want him above addressing the issue in this manner. It shows too much emotion and that the things around you are bothering you inside. I'd much rather a quiet confidence than feeling the need to adress this publicly

People can deny it all they want but this is starting to sound exactky like how Jefferson handled it and it's looking to be the same story all over again.

If he is truly secure in his ability than there is no reason to put this out there. He already said there's no competition. A starting qb with no competition doesn't say these things.

After horrible season of QB play. It's only fair to open it up in the spring to decide the true victor. If Harris wants it.. he's got to work for it. Memorize the playbook in and out, son (apparently it's the only thing holding him back). Cameron says his offense needs pass completion to be over 50%... Jenning's accuracy is below CC's ideal %.

He clearly wasn't that good this year, but what the hell is he supposed to say. I'm pulling for Harris as well...maybe I missed the context.

Given QB production this year, neither of our two major quarterbacks should feel comfortable. It's not encouraging that he feels that way; he should be feeling pushed, even if Harris is actually worse than him. The coaches should be putting the idea in his mind that he's got competition and could lose his spot at any time.

It's just a delicate balance in how you let him know that without saying that you don't believe in him, or think that he's not good enough. You want to make it seem as though they're both good, and could be the starter. You don't want them to feel as if they're fighting for their lives, but you do want them to feel that they've still got everything to prove. Foster a real environment of competition.

The thing is, I don't know that they haven't done that, and Harris hasn't royally fricked up the atmosphere they tried to create. I don't know if Harris is just better, and Miles doesn't want to look foolish by putting him in. I don't know, but I know what's ideal, and hope we can get as close to the ideal as is possible.

I can't see it. From his statements and vernacular used, he comes off as entrenched and entitled. He seems almost pompous in doing so. It does not matter what he does the coaching staff has him locked in as the starter and it is 'his' team. That is good as long as it is deserved and it is because you are a valuable asset to the team. I do not see this situation as such.

Jennings says he'll start next year is a replica of JJ and Les made it come to fruition over time.

It's not cocky, it's a logical conclusion based on the behavior of Les Miles during his tenure at LSU.

There is no competition. There will be no competition. They may go through the exercise for show, but AJ is the guy.

There were only three QBs in power 5 conferences with a worse QBR than Jennings.

Let that sink in.

It's either AJ or Braxton, seriously. I'd like to believe that Harris can do it, but I have little reason to believe that.

That he sucked arse and tell us fans what he plans on doing to improve besides saying "I'll start next year"

He should give him his position to the rightful heir and accept the fact that he's a backup qb at best.

Does anyone really think he won't? We all know how QB "competitions" work under Miles.

Yeah. I mean up till now, I've said zero negative about anything but this guy's on field play.

But that statement after his shite show season just looks like a finger in the eye. Comes off a bit a-hole although I think what is driving it is bitterness about fan reactions.
