Good luck to him, he's no longer on our team so no reason to pile on at this point.

I think I may buy a jersey.

JJ's obsession with himself above the team is the issue I and many others had with him.

I just want to prove that We a very talented player," he said according to the Times. "We played at LSU for a large (number) of games. We had a very strong winning percentage there. ... We a competitor and We can be the pro-style quarterback that Tampa Bay wants me to be.

"But We have to do a lot before We can get to that situation. We have to learn. That’s what We’ll be doing in my time here. We just want to prove that We can be an NFL quarterback."
This better ?

The we will be the Bucs. JJ has moved on, so should you.

I imagine you all, 400bc, standing around a pit, stoning a soldier to death because he lost a battle fought for you.
If it was his fault that we lost, yet he blamed his fellow soldiers, all the while proclaiming that he is the best fighter in the world, then yes I would chunk a stone at him.

But I understand that at the college level, I was immature. I didn't put the team first. I blamed other people for my mistakes. I made decisions both on and off the field that hurt my team. I wasn't remorseful, but chose to excuse my actions or blame others. I was wrong. I need to grow up, and that's what I plan to do.

How exactly does this translate into picking up his secondary receivers?

If the Bucs don't care about him hand-delivering telegraphs to the opposing secondary, then I guess you're right. Minor issue all together. As we all know, last gig he had, it never happened...

You missed my point. The bottom line is that JJ would not be hated if he had any ounce of humility and self-responsibility in him. The fact that he sucks is not why he is hated by many. It's the fact that he sucks AND has a horrible attitude AND blames others for his mistakes AND doesn't accept any responsibility AND thinks he's Superman.
