His role in winning the last game was overrated by his loyal fan club but has nothing to do with how I feel about the guy. I certainly don't hold the fact he had some idiots supporting him against JJ.

because i feel like the vast majority of the rant will never be able to let this situation go. We're beating a dead horse when it comes to this topic.

You mean, like ranting?

You can't deny that the entire situation has gotten stale and redundant. It's actually pretty pitiful that our fanbase is still having a discussion about it, when we should be focusing on the team that we have taking the field in '12.

So I'm guessing you're also against threads started discussing Claiborne, Peterson, Flynn, etc. etc., because fans should be concentrating on the team this year?

I'll be interested to see your bitching on those threads as well.

yes you've found a loophole in my argument about bitching about the JJ and the end of last years season.

Good for you.

I hope JJ at least plays in an pre-season game. For some people, it would be a dream come true, to play in a NFL game!

As a Saints' fan, I hope JJ starts for Tampa the next decade.

Good luck to him. I hope he gets another shot to play competitive football so his final game is not the atrocity that was the NCG. He frustrated me alot while he was our QB, but he is a tiger and I hope for nothing but the best for him.

This is how 99% of all LSU FANS should be. I didn't say posters. I said fans. Clearly, there is a diff!

can someone post the gif of his face where he says "MAYNE, this everybody else fault, Mayne!" without saying a word?

Which one? He's blamed others more than once:

+1.

Could only have been better had he signed with the Falcons.

Being both a die hard LSU and Bucs fan I hope we find another position for him rather than QB...

Well, he had so many "worst moments" from which to choose. It wasn't just his piss poor performances, it was his demeanor, attitude and arrogance. I have disliked few Tigers as much as him.

Glad he doesn't wear P&G anymore.

That said, I am not sure why people keep bringing this stuff up unless it's just to agitate some shite. Like dog shite, let it be and it dry up. Move along here, there's nothing new to see.

Says the guy posting hate in a JJ signed in NFL thread.
This signing 'tards said would never happen really pisses you off, and feel the need to jump in the thread and do a little hatin'.
You're prolly the same 'tards looking to lynch a thrown-in-the-fire frosh QB in '08.
I imagine you all, 400bc, standing around a pit, stoning a soldier to death because he lost a battle fought for you.
Give it a frickin' rest.

"I just want to prove that I'm a very talented player," he said according to the Times. "I played at LSU for a large (number) of games. I had a very strong winning percentage there. ... I'm a competitor and I can be the pro-style quarterback that Tampa Bay wants me to be.

"But I have to do a lot before I can get to that situation. I have to learn. That’s what I’ll be doing in my time here. I just want to prove that I can be an NFL quarterback."

JJ's obsession with himself above the team is the issue I and many others had with him.
