Incidents involving QBs get far more press and circulation than those involving OL.
Just sayin.....

could you show us that federal conviction and sentence then?

Hi! I'm earth! Have we met?
Life isn't fair. It happens everywhere. Those that are expendable and cause problems get the boot, while those that are needed get more chances. It doesn't only happen in sports. If you are more valuable to your company and you F up, you are more likely to get extra chances, then someone who is replaceable.
That being said, we don't really know what happened so I just trust that Les made the right decision.

I think it shows more the bias of the media and general public. Everything a highly touted QB does is plastered on the papers, TV's, and message boards. An O-lineman does stuff and no one hears about it.

drugs get you kicked off with the quickness. not sayin that was it, but you have NO IDEA what it could have been.

I trust les in making these decisions. He knows allot more than any of the rantards here about what his palyers are doing. Les is going to do what he feels is in the best interest of the team, and I fully believe kicking someone off the team is one of the last things he would want to do.
I like having teams with some discipline. If les felt that jarvis deserved to be kicked off due his actions I accept that.
do you idiots really believe les is kicking kids off the team because he either wants to screw LSU over, or he is just bored in the offseason and looking to get some press in the advocate ?

This is disgusting. Perrilloux had what 3 offenses on him before he finally kicked off the the team
The counterfeit money scandal
Casino Rouge fake ID incident (federal offense)
Varsity midnight brawl
Then missing classes to go to his fathers funeral (legit and understood)
Yet this kid has an incident, maybe 2, and gets the boot? Les is a great coach that treats all his players the same..sike he's quick to give the boot to those that are expendable, but slow to give the boot to those he needs. Great teacher, leader, and motivator
How in the blue frick do you know what happened? You don't......shut up.

There were more than two incidents with JJ, but the big difference was how each player handled themselves after their mistakes. One took his punishment and didn't complain about it the other wasn't as accepting. You take a wild guess who that was.
In fact there was another player that got in the same trouble as Jarvis, but he did what he had to do to stay on the team.

what if Jones failed 3 drug tests?
what if he failed 3 drug tests and missed numerous summer workouts?
what if Jones failed 3 drug tests, missed numerous summer workouts, and cussed Les Miles out in front of the entire team?
we have no idea what he did and why he was kicked off the team. what I do know is this:
I haven't seen Miles make a huge mistake yet.

Its hard to understand the motives of the ill-informed flamer. It really is, because there is nothing of value there, no positive contribution, just a guy with his dick in his hands spouting crap.
I hope Jarvis lands on his feet and goes on to play in The League.

I've talked to people on the team about this, and Miles really had no choice. The kid is lucky actually

Unless the kid raped someone, sold dope, or fought one of the coaches, I dont see how anything he did was worse than what RP did because of the track record
Maybe he did one of those things. Nobody knows at this point. You have no clue how egregious Jones' actions may have been. Until it comes out, it makes no sense to bash Les.

thats true, but every piece to the puzzle is important. Showing favoritism isnt a great way to win over players.

Point #1 - You have no idea why RP was removed.
Point #2 - You have no idea why JJ was removed.
Point #3 - You have no way to compare what you don't know about RP with what you don't know about JJ other than to guess or speculate.
Point #4 - Speculation without a shred of fact is stupid.
Was JJ kicked off the team for a counterfeit money scandal, fake ID incident, midnight brawl, missing classes, or some combination of those, or none of the above? You don't know.
Was there an unforgivable single line that he and RP crossed that the players all know constitutes basis for immediate dismissal? Were they removed for the same offense? You don't know.
Actually you don't know anything really, do you? ---- except how to run your mouth with the protection of anonymity.

Hey, Tulane Fan:
1. Perrilloux was not "accused" of anything in the counterfeit money case - he was asked if he knew or was contacted by anyone supposedly in this "ring." The alledged perpetrators were never arrested apparently and it was never in the media. Perrilloux was in Baton Rouge at LSU when this "ring" was apparently in operation.
Perrilloux did not have a counterfeiting machine in his dorm room, did not have any counterfeit bills, and did not know any of the alleged perpetrators in this ring. He was simply questioned if he was "approached" or contacted by them and if they knew him. Period......
Maybe you were there when he was questioned?
If so, enlighten us......
2. If showing your brother's ID (it wasn't a FAKE idea) is not a Federal offense. If it was, he would have been arrested and convicted and would be in prison. Where did you get FAKE ID
from? How could his brother's casino ID be FAKE?
Maybe you were on the ramp and witnessed this heinous act? If so, enlighten us......
3. Where were you when the Varsity story was detailed???? The Varsity's cameras show Perrilloux with his girlfriend outside on the sidewalk waiting for everyone else to come out. The brawl started by Derrick Odoms was inside the Varsity. Perrilloux not only was not inside and not involved in the brawl, but he was outside on the street when that happened.
He and his girlfriend and several witnesses also gave that statement that was backed up on the Varsity's outside security cameras.
Please explain what Perrilloux had to do with the brawl. Since you were there and know so much, enlighten us........
What were the three "offenses" ???
Enlighten us please.....
Were you there going to class, eating with, and sleeping with Jarvis Jones every second?
Do you know the inside details of what he did and how many times? Who knows how many times Jones was in trouble. Miles even alluded to that. It must have been significantly more heinous than showing his brother's ID at a casino.
Enlighen us......
