It was still La Tech

Everyone keeps acting like they totally sucked-they gave Boise all they wanted, and don't forget, the La Tech game was another case of where we are running over them, but GC inexplicably decides to abandon what's working to see if he can make it through pages 619-773 of his playbook.

Let Mingo play a little QB and see how it goes.

I don't think his playbook extends that far.

Based on what? His abality to throw pick six's??

I guess it's a sad arse day, when your two qb's

are jokes. One can't hit a mule in the arse with

an ironing board, and the other, throws it to

the other freaking team for td's..

So the guy who is burned into fans memory for his ability to throw a pick six, throws a pick six and he shows you growth? Just saying, would have been happy not to see him make the same mistake he made before.

At the game with that play right in front of me it appeared the ball was catchable and the reciever just did not get his hands up quick enough. Ball went right through him and Loston made the play. More the recievers fault than Lee on that one. I think the rush forced Lee and Jefferson to throw quicker than they wished to yesterday and Lee is a little more adept at making that kind of play than JJ. Both Lee and JJ had passes dropped but Lee was more in sync with the receivers than JJ yesterday which falls in line with the reports we've been hearing. If JJ doesn't get it together over the summer his status as #1 is on shaky ground IMO.

I like Lee as the starter. I wish he would have had a full season starting for a team that could actually rely on it's defense. We were in too many predictable passing situations two years ago because we were always losing and short on time. What if Lee's development would have consisted mostly of giving the rock to Scott and relying on a good D? Not excusing pick sixes, just pointing that out.

As a Reb, I would much prefer to see Lee than JJ if that tells you anything.

Jarrett Lee sucks. End of discussion. Lsu will never get a solid QB like we need

The problem now is, he sucks less than JJ. Thats why there is a whole new discussion.

But in a game he will suck more it's been proven time after time. It will be another long year with QBs

At this point we pretty much know that JJ sucks.

JL is physically capable but doesn't have it between the ears in the heat of battle and just isn't a good fit with the OL we have. Lee demands protection and our OL can't get it to him. So JJ may actually be a worse QB than Lee but actually do better for this team than Lee.

CG apparently isn't going to be given a chance as the coaches keep trying to put the square pegs (JL and JJ) through the round holes.

Whatever LSU does this year it will be inspite of not fielding a decent QB.

My god when will some of you idiots realize. Jefferson is a horrible QB. We will never win anything with him. Dude can't even run an option properly, yet some of you idiots are on his jock strap like there is no tomorrow.

On the JL interception, it looked like Randle either short-armed the pass, or simply wasn't ready for it. I wouldn't say that was really JL's fault.

GC is a contrarian. he feels compelled to do what no one else would, as if surprise is more important than field position and down and distance.
