Yes. He mentioned the TEs and RBs also. Does not have to be one specific player...just another "outlet" to 'go to'.
Magee was wide open on one of his scrambles in the last game. He might just need to look there more.

Of course we did line Mett up at WR last year. Maybe he is our 3rd option.

Few other notes from the interview:
- JL really emphasized Mett's poise in the pocket.
- Also mentioned Les really loves to run the ball and abhors turnovers.
- Big fan of Peyton and how he prepares and Brees.
- Sounded like JL still hoped for an opportunity in the NFL

It was neat hearing a former TB QB field a plethora of questions. Fun stuff.

Serious question. I figured when he wasn't in a camp this past fall that he had moved away from football. His preseason with the Chargers was good enough to hang around if they wanted to keep 3 qb's. I figured somebody would give him a look. If you've ever watched the 4th quarter of a preseason game, you realize how thin the quarterback pool is.

jax was mentioned a few times?
also, why not a scout team?

p.s. very surprised at so many positives. I expect the rant to be sooo negative.

I hope he gets a good job w/ lsu!

The original TV music was done by Jennings. That J Cash song is a cover/remake/Cash interpretation.

All of us internet fans have argued the J Lee/J Jefferson duo ad nauseum. Most of the time, we got nasty with it. But this much is fact, and can not be denied...

Jarrett Lee handled himself with nothing but class during his time at LSU. During the highest of highs, and the lowest of lows, he took responsibility for his play on the field. Even when he finished, the local media tried their hardest to get Jarrett, and his family, to say something negative about Les Miles and the program, but they never took the bait.

Debate the man's play if you want, but there is no argument about his character.

If only good character made him good at football...

But for realz, even though I was #TeamSweep, I always liked Lee. Honestly don't know how anyone couldn't

Right, Waylon wrote Good Ol' Boys (the theme song). That's a totally different song. Trust me, I've owned this record since I was 7 years old. The song is called The General Lee by Johnny Cash. Composed by Johnny Cash and Thom Bresh (lyrics by Johnny Cash).

We met him in either his freshman or sophomore year the Sunday morning after a Saturday game at IHOP in BR. He was one of the nicest, classiest guys I have ever talked to and seemed very mature for his age. Great family too. He took the high road and stayed classy. It will come back to him in good things. I wish nothing but the best for JL.

I agree - He was treated miserably by everyone - myself included - during his freshman year.

But he stuck it out and I never heard one complaint from him. He was there when we needed him and I don't think he got a fair shake from Miles.

He has been working out in BTR with hopes that he would get a call for training camp but that never happened. I don't blame him for holding on for as long as he can. The real world work will always be there.

LSU and it's faithful should be proud to have a person of his character having gave everything for five years. He embraced this place and everything that came with it, the good and the bad, and has never spoken negatively of anything or anyone. Everyone would be wise to embrace him.

Regardless of what a lot of the assholes thought/said about Lee, he is truly one of the classiest kids you would ever want to meet. He easily could have given all of us a big "frick you" and gone somewhere else after his freshman season. Instead, he took the high road, worked hard, and did a lot of good things in his final 3 years. He will always be one of my favorites.

I don't think anyone , EVER said the kid wasnt all class. He was. If all our players had the guts of JLEE we would win every game. The guy could've easily transferred after 08 and no one would've said a word, but he stuck it out and won some big games for LSU. Ill always love and respect JLee for that.
