Playbook comparison

JL: LSU playbook is similar to NFL playbook. LSU helped me prepare for my opportunity at San Diego

Expectations for Hilliard

JL: My advice...always be prepared for when you opportunity comes. It will come again...be ready. Kenny is a big, special back and will be used in the future

Preparation

JL: P. Manning is still so great because he is always prepared

That was it

it wasn't his advice, as much as his take on things from an insider/ former player. apparently it's a weekly segment, so get ready for more "advice from JLee".

On the other hand, I can't think of many really good coaches who were good players, so he might be a good coach!

Spurrier is the only one I can think of off the top of my head.

It's a really good segment that I look forward to weekly. Nothing bad at all. Just an exQBs perspective on the Offense.

All of us internet fans have argued the J Lee/J Jefferson duo ad nauseum. Most of the time, we got nasty with it. But this much is fact, and can not be denied...

Jarrett Lee handled himself with nothing but class during his time at LSU. During the highest of highs, and the lowest of lows, he took responsibility for his play on the field. Even when he finished, the local media tried their hardest to get Jarrett, and his family, to say something negative about Les Miles and the program, but they never took the bait.

Debate the man's play if you want, but there is no argument about his character.

How difficult is it to develop 3rd target?

JL: Great question. Need to find it. Future opponents will require it. They WILL find it

I feel safe in saying that Dural is that 3rd WR target.

Yes. He mentioned the TEs and RBs also. Does not have to be one specific player...just another "outlet" to 'go to'.

Too bad he he had Crowton.
Krags or Cam during his whole time at LSU might have beeen special.

because only super talented QBs know the game of football? i guess we shouldn't listen to what the majority of the coaches in football have to say because they weren't all-american caliber players. and regardless of what he did on the field, jarrett lee has been a class act all the way. given all the shite he's taken through the years for nothing but bad play, it's quite impressive at how he conducts himself when questioned by the media.
