Nobody is comparing. I asked what makes him think Russell would be a HOFer. He said those attributes and I named 2 guys with those similar attributes.

....the best QB in all of college football

Matt Ryan, Brian Brohm, John Beck, were all better college QB's than Russell in '06. This has nothing to do with pro potential just college performance.

Oh, if you're gonna argue passer ratings then Tebow, Brennan, and Beck were better than Russell.

But let the JR jock sniffers line up after 3 good games. 3 good games nor 1 good season does a great QB make.

That is all...

Must suck to search and copy and paste and try to talk down to a person and sound intellectual but yet be so wrong doing it.

Once again, I am not COMPARING the 3. I was given attributes and named 2 players with them. So go ahead and try again mr smart arse.

JR had the highest QB rating from a BCS conference team in 06'

had higher ratings than Ryan and Brohm. Ryan threw 15td/10int with less yards and lower completion % than JR. not to mention playing the in the ACC.

Why are you guys arguing with hateful fricking idiots that will argue the same stupid bullshite every fricking week. Even if he goes to the pro bowl next year, they'll still say the same bullshite.
Russell doesnt need their "approval" to play in the NFL.
Russell has showed his great potential and has carried a very shitty team on his back all season and made them look much better than they really are.

Again I'm no longer curious. If I really have to explain this to you then your reputation as a dumbass was highly understated.

While I think (not counting the bowls), Troy made more clutch plays and was a better leader than Jamarcus

he also had 2 worse games: PSU and Illinois

Yeah, Illinois he sucked. IDK why. Maybe looking ahead to Michigan, IDK. Penn St wasn't good, either, but he made up for it with one of the greatest plays of the entire season that swung all the momentum around and changed the game when it wasn't looking that good.

Well, Penn St was awful weather. It was a rainstorm, the field sucked, so footing for both his WRs and when he planted to throw could have been thrown off. Like I said, I will give you Illinois that he just played poorly.

we had some players missing against ole miss.

arizona state was our 1st game under a new coach on the road at the #15 teams place right after Katrina where the average player lost like 8 pounds. Our defense played like shite and our offense and special teams won us the game.

And John Beck had comparable stats in the MOUNTAIN WEST

But other than facts, excellent post.
