While I think (not counting the bowls), Troy made more clutch plays and was a better leader than Jamarcus, IN MY OPINION, I understand those that would take JR over TS. But, to say Troy "was a joke" is laughable.

JR had a big arm, maybe the biggest in college history. One sportswriter wrote "his arm is as strong as a catapult, and about as accurate." But his passer rating belied that statement.
Boy Wonder (Quinn) only looked decent when he was lobbing passes to his 6-6 WR. Samardjia (sp?) made Quinn at ND.
JR was without question the best QB in 06.

You are kidding right?
Jones held all those attributes and he was quicker than Russell.
Lorenzan held the size, intelligence, arm strength but he was slow.
One held, holds all and one held, holds all but one.

To compare the QB abilities of JRuss to Jones and Lorenzan is like comparing Steak to Hamburger. They are not even is JRuss's league.

Steve Walsh and Danny Weurfell did not have strong enough arms to compete in the NFL.

Actually the NFl scouts were talking about how great he moved his feet and moved around the pocket for being so big. Who is comparing arm strengths? I am stating these guys have size and most of the same attributes as Russell so lets put them in the HOF. Obviously all you need is that. You dont have to prove anything if you are an LSU Tiger I guess.

Jesus man. Nobody is comparing. I asked what makes him think Russell would be a HOFer. He said those attributes and I named 2 guys with those similar attributes. Got Damn. Read son.
