It's not Xbox u don't know if Tolliver can move back there.

He can still attend practice and help the younger guys from side. A couple more weeks plus Mcneese and Miss St. Should give whoever steps in his spot enough time to he ready for Auburn.

Exactly relax people, Jefferson, Thompson, Paris, Lewis, all these guys can play safety crap even Tolliver could step back there with his speed, range and physicality.
It is his veteran experience that is going to be missed the most.
We are not putting a true freshman cornerback at safety to direct our secondary on their assignments. It will be Rickey and he should be good.

Take your time and heal up, Jalen.

Take this in the spirit in which its intended, but if you're going to break a leg bone, this is the one to do it to. Broke mine in 3 places in high school and it was a very quick recovery.

Exactly. The combined effort to replace him will come from other veterans Rickey Jefferson, Corey Thompson, and Dwayne Thomas.

Exactly... There is way more to playing safety than coverage.
He needs to line everyone up and not blow assignments... Which is exaclty how/what Auburn operates on... Next man up needs to be mentally prepared more so than physically.

Out 4-6 weeks.
That's incredibly optimistic.

How does this effect the cornerbacks? I had a feeling we would see Mills walk down as that third corner alot I think I remember him doing that alot last year

Pretty accurate actually

If its a very small fracture on a non-weight bearing bone, I could definitely see 4 weeks with the proper care.
He needs to sit his arse in a wheel chair until its healed though.

It's not incredibly optimistic, it's realistic. See my last post. You can even wear a boot while it's healing, probably better to wear a boot actually.

Not having Mills for MSU and Auburn is going to have an impact. Yes LSU has secondary depth but a lot of it is young. Having a senior leader back there is huge.

Godspeed healing to Jalen. Glad he'll have a chance to return.

Depends on whether it's a break or fracture

Yeah it could be worse. These athletes heal at ridiculous rates

Broke my fibula playing ball at the LSU rec about 5 years ago. Thought it was just a high ankle sprain. Ended up being a clean break. No surgery. Cast for 4 weeks. Walking boot another 2. Another month to get back to 100% strength.
But he's a professional athlete with the best medical resources available...
